This mattress is way more than I expected it to be. For the price it’s listed online, I had very low expectations. It “inflated” perfectly within the time frame allowed. The corners are not down which is expected with the vacuum sealed mattresses. It’s very comfortable. Not to firm. I’m very pleased with this mattress.
I have always been very warm when I am sleeping, so I am excited to have found this cooling mattress. I didn't realize how many times my sleep was being interrupted by waking up overheated. This mattress is what I would call medium firm. My previous mattress was a pillow top, and my shoulder ached in the night. Apparently a firmer platform and additional support was what was missing, as it no longer aches as badly. I should add that I am a 5'6" 180# female. When I removed the wrapping, the mattress immediately expanded, and I slept on it the same night. I do wish it had handles, as it is awkward to try and move without them.
The Allswell Cool Mattress is one good mattress in my opinion. In essence it has the best of both worlds at a reasonable price. First it is a spring bed. But it also has a memory foam topper embedded in the mattress itself. This way you would no longer experience the memory foam topper slipping or sliding as it is inside the mattress. Also being embedded the mattress doesn’t not really add height to the mattress. Most often if you include a topper, it would make you bed higher. And from my perspective, the added height makes my bed a bit off. Akward as some may describe it. But with the Allswell Cool Mattress, the height of my bed seems normal. Also, I like the the way the memory foam contours to my body. But it’s memory. Shouldn’t it be that way. Yes. But being embedded, you won’t notice that it’s only a foam topper rather than the whole mattress itself. You won’t feel that it is also a spring cushion mattress too. And by not being wholly made from memory foam also lowers the cost too. I have only gotten this mattress for a couple of weeks so I really cannot comment on the durability. But most beds are guaranteed for five months. And I believe that this mattress can last a minimum of ten years. But most likely more. I would highly recommend this mattress bed.
This is a well made matress and nice to sleep on. Is cooler to sleep on. You would be glad you got This. 2 people can lay on it and have plenty of room. My daughter and her fiance put it on their bed Because I had bought a new bed. Wish now I Would have waited.
This mattress is perfect!!! Very soft and firm at the same time!!! It took me a while to find such a good mattress to solve my back problem!! And besides being wonderful for my spine, he is also beautiful!!! Wonderful quality! My husband really liked it too! I strongly recommend!!!
This mattress is definitely a big improvement to my bedroom. The softness feel to the firmness of the mattress I love it. I'll have to buy deep pocket sheets for it but well worth it I must say. The mattress is pretty heavy in the box and definitely takes 2 people to place this mattress. I maneuvered this on my own but no big deal since the delivery driver put it close to my front door. This mattress sleeps really good and is pretty firm. The mattress is made really well and will last for years. I'm buying another one like this when its time. I did not wake up having any aches or pains from sleeping on this mattress I guess because of the way it is made great job.
I tried the Allswell Cool Mattress Size Queen due to needing a new mattress. Overall, I'm pretty impressed! It's comfortable no matter how my husband and I sleep on it (we are back and side sleepers). And the great thing is, I don't even feel when he gets up to leave for his shift in the mornings. He also normally prefers softer mattresses and I normally prefer slightly former ones, so the fact we've both been comfortable on this one is amazing. The plush top is fairly cool to the touch before adding on a mattress protector and sherry. From what I can tell, it will be awesome for hot summer nights, or even in winter when my hubby is too hot from the heater going. For a hybrid mattress with coils, it's very comfortable. Almost reminds me of a nice hotel bed. Now, the reasons I'm giving this mattress 4 stars after raving about it are that the sides don't feel reinforced (you feel like you are going to fall off the bed if you roll too close to the edge) and some of the stitching on the pillow top were undone when we unpackaged the mattress. So overall, I do give the Allswell Cool Mattress Size Queen 4 stars because it is a good mattress despite the edge and stitching.
I've been using this mattress for a week and I think it is a great mattress But it could be better. The box arrived in great conditions and well packaged. It.is increíble Thst a mattress can fit in a box. (Super heavy, always ask for help). It was easy to open it and set it up over the bed. It is not fully extended yet and does not look very uniform. The mattress looks well made and resistant. My only complaint is that the top is not firm as I was expecting.
I needed a new mattress and decided to try this. I have purchased mattresses from Walmart before and other places as well so have an understanding of the box mattress. This was going on our second floor. The box did not have wheels or have any time of handle to assist with getting it up the stairs. This was brutally heavy and I almost gave up. If it had wheels and a handle, I could have possibly pulled it up. It was extremely heavy. I live in a 1.5 floor so I was not able to open it up first. It would not have fit up the stairs had I opened it first. Once it was out of the box, set up was pretty simple. It took 24 hrs to reach the proper height. I waited a few days to check it out. The top is cool to touch. The bed feels like the old style mattresses that have a lot of bounce. I unfortunately threw my back out and didn't get to test it out the way I wanted too. I love the height but bc of the bouncy/ springy feeling, I would only recommend for the light weight person who just needs a place to crash or for a kids room, guest room.
While this mattress claims to sleep cool, if that feature works at all, it doesn’t once you have a mattress pad and sheet over it, so hard to say. What I can say is there is a lot of motion transfer and if you and your partner get too close, you get stuck in a bowl. It’s not very comfortable for sleeping as such. Not a good fit for us, but if you like a soft mattress, you sleep alone, or you both sleep very still, this may work just fine for you.
