Package was delivered with no drama. Super easy to setup. It was like unrolling a giant Pillsbury Poppin Fresh Dough minus the explosion. Mattress looks good and we didn't see any defects. We noticed it was out-gassing for about 2 days. It smells like white Elmer's glue. Too bad it didn't smell like Poppin Fresh Dough. We normally have a "Firm" type of traditional spring mattress so this medium firm mattress seems to work fine for us. Although we are using it on an adjustable bed frame. Can't say much about the quality since it is only the 1 week of usage. The old mattress haul away by Angi was professionally done so no complains here. Only complain is we are not getting spammed by Angi daily so now we have to setup a mail filter for that.
I've had the bed a little over a month and I love it. I kept my existing box spring and put this on top. It's very soft and comfortable. You can't flip it over so that will limit it's life span but for the price it's amazing if you like a soft mattress.
I chose this bed because I had the opportunity to try it at my friend's house, where I was staying until I moved into my new apartment. The bed was very comfortable and suited my preferences. I fell asleep easily on it, even when I was not intending to. I did compare other brands, but since I had a firsthand experience with the Allswell bed, I decided to go with it. The price was also more reasonable than the other options. P.s Not A Bot! Godbless
I was used to coil mattresses, and this one really work out perfectly. I'm older and I had to get hybrid because I wanted coils and a had to get something that came in a box would go up a narrow stairway. I love it!
The mattress is a bit bulky for 1 person to maneuver, however I'm 48 and was able to manage it alone. Make sure you have it facing the right direction once you start taking the plastic off. I had to flip it over because I had it upside down and it was almost impossible but I did it!! We've been sleeping like a baby since we got it. The mattress is thick. It seems to have the right firmness yet little bit of bounce. I'm a side sleeper with back and hip problems and I sleep good!!! My husband really likes it too!
I purchased the queen size alls well luxe 12 inch medium firm mattress in January and figured I'd write my review in April after sleeping on it for at least 90 days. I cannot deny for the price it is definitely worth it, I sleep really good, my back pain feels relieved when I wake up in the morning and it is definitely what I hoped it to be. I did a lot of research on the right mattress for my weight and height. I am 250 pounds and 5 foot 11. I decided to go with this one because it's made for heavy people. I am definitely satisfied with this purchase. It was easy to set up and it doesn't seem to be as heavy as I thought it would be. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and it is definitely a quality mattress for a very good price, I don't struggle to move around on it and it does not have a sinking feeling either , I'm glad I got this brand it's definitely a quality mattress.
Nice quality mattress, well made and comfortable, it's more soft than firm. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is its rated to be a medium firm mattress and it's not. I did wait 36 hours before sleeping on it and I will say the longer you wait, the firmer the bed will get. I have bad back & hip problems and a side sleeper. Was only sleeping about an hour at a time and now sleeping 4-6 hours straight, which is heaven. I'm on day 5 of waking up without severe back pain and able to move around immediately after waking. Highly recommend this mattress.
Arrived a day late. When I took it out of the box I saw two small holes on the bottom. Photo included.
We bought this mattress because, in the middle of a pandemic, it seemed smarter to purchase online rather than go to a mattress store and try out a bunch of mattresses. Along with pretty good Walmart reviews, this mattress was well reviewed on Consumer Reports. Well, we heartily disagree with all of that positivity. I don't know if we received a lemon or what, but the mattress that my daughter tried to become accustomed to for nearly 2 months was anything but "medium firm." It was SOFT. Think 'sink into it like there is absolutely no support anywhere on the mattress I don't care what they claim' soft. She's a stomach and side sleeper and she developed back pain from the complete and utter lack of support. Then, as we were beginning to come to terms with the fact that this mattress was not going to work for her, I helped her remake her bed and said "what is THAT?" There was a big lump/bubble in the middle of the mattress (shown in pics). That was it. No way were we spending $500 on a super soft, unsupportive, seemingly defective mattress. Back it went. I did chat with a rep from Allswell online and they did agree that bubbles or lumps of any kind were not normal and encouraged me to take the mattress back to Walmart. We had to jam it into the back of our car and get help to bring it into the store, but the Walmart customer service person didn't hassle us at all about the return. All in all, we absolutely can't recommend this mattress. We are currently trying another option (that we tried before buying in a store that starts with Ik**) and it was cheaper, is actually medium firm and has handles for moving/transporting. Buyer beware of this misrepresented mattress. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
When we got this mattress, there was a sinking spot in the middle of the mattress. After a few days, it worsened. Make sure you keep the box in case you would like to return it to the store. The store requires the original box for returns.
