No they are not European style. They don't taste like that anywhere in Europe (I lived there 36 years.) Walmart used to have perfect croissants from France- 8 for $3.98. No croissants can keep longer than a day so I'd buy a stock and freeze them. What happened? Now, ALL your croissants are terrible! Heavy, dense and tasteless. I had had hopes for these but they are not any better. The ones that you sold 8 for $3.98 "Poduct of France" were lighter, flakier, tastier and yummier. The only thing wrong was the packaging- nobody could imagine that there was a gourmet treat in the plain brown box. Only two weeks ago, I bought 3 boxes of eight and then froze them to heat them up as needed. When are we getting good croissants again?
What happened to the good croissants that came in a brown box. The croissants now are tasteless. I would not give you a penny for them. I will never buy them. The french people would die of shock if they knew what's going on.
