Mounted with whiteboard top to meet out needs on location chosen and is working very well for us!
I bought this to cover up a marred closet door. We were able to hang it vertically to fit the space we have. It's nice to have both types of surfaces to organize projects.
This board was to replace a similar one that didn't have any magnetic properties. The dry erase side of this one IS magnetic, which is what I wanted. Some descriptions of it said the cork side is also magnetic, but it isn't. Also there is no black framing down the center of the board as the picture illustrates, but this makes no difference to me!
The item arrived damaged and had to be returned. It also did not have the black strip in the middle which the picture shows.
