These are the only pants my son will wear! Since he was 4, and now he's almost 14! He went from husky to regular over the years, and the pants were a great fit in both types. I only wish the pants came in in-between sizes (9, 11, 13, etc) because he would wear them for a year rolled up, then the next year not rolled up, until he outgrew them. But that's U.S. sizing. And it was doable. These are great pants: comfortable, casual, and the adjustable waist is so helpful. Plus the price is great! He likes the shorts too.
Perfect size and confection. Good quality! My son looks great!
I love these shorts. I can add them with any graphic shirt or a collar shirt. Anything looks great with it. The material is great too. I've been purchasing the same shorts for my son for years now.
My Son loves these and how comfortable they are. Delievery was super fast and delievered with care. Would definitely buy in different colors.
My sons are husky and I struggle to find shorts that fit them. These shorts were a perfect fit and I love that they are easy to pull on and off for them.
My grandson felt they were too heavy but did fit the waist nice. He loves the pockets.
Bought this for my son and it keeps him fresh and comfy. Fabric is a bit thin though, but it's not too bad. Needs ironing after washing if you want it to look neat. Color is a nice shade of beige. As pictured.
I loved the elastic waistband, but would have liked the shorts even better if they would have had some stretch in the material for the husky sizes. Bigger boys need clothes with stretchy material.
Having bought dozens of these shorts for years, I was excited to buy some in the next size up for my 10-year-old. However, the shorts have changed, and I can no longer be excited about these. 1 - The material is more like a thin ripstop cotton/nylon than it is a nice 'thick' cotton material with a nice appearance to it. 2 - The stitching and details have changed. Example: The corners of the pocket flaps on the new shorts are square, while the flaps on the old shorts are rounded. 3 - Overall, the new shorts more closely resemble a rather basic (cheap) pair of cargo shorts from a big discount store rather than a quality, somewhat dressy pair of cotton cargo shorts that I would want to pair with a polo shirt for church. 4 - Perhaps the biggest problem at all: The fit is now too snug. A size 14 (reg) of new shorts fits my son more snugly than a size 12 (reg) of old shorts. The seat and legs are too tight when my son (who is solidly built but does not own any Husky clothes) squats/bends/sits. The best feature of these shorts is the color selection and the adjustable waist (though the adjustable waist isn't very useful when the rest of the shorts fit too tightly even though they're otherwise 'big enough,' if that can possibly make sense). Also, the price is very reasonable, BUT I would rather pay a few dollars more to get the same quality of previous years' versions.
HUGE!! size 8 should not run like a 10/12. My 8yr old son is a normal sized kid. He isnt small and these shorts come down about 3in past his knee and have to be rolled up twice to hold them up.
