This is an awesome heart rate monitor. I love te display and it will keep track of the calories burned over a period of time. For those who are just starting out with a fitness plan who want something easy to use, this is perfect. Not to many features to worry about.
I have had this for several days now and I love it! It is easy to use. I forget that I have the chest strap on- it is comfortable. I wore it dancing one night and no one knew that I had it on. I hooked the watch onto my belt loop. I burned 907 calories and was very excited! I have used it daily since then. I highly recommend this one.
I actually got this to see if it would be beneficial to my personal training clients and I have to say that I love it. Here's what I love 1. You can set the range you want to keep your heart rate in (usually 60-85% of max HR) and throughout your workout it will let you know what percent you are in and if you're not working hard enough then you know what to do. 2. It gives calories burned based on your body specifications & the range your heart rate was in which is better than any cardio machine you can use because they don't really know what your HR is throughout your workout. 3. It's lightweight. You don't feel it at all. My only complaint is that you can't turn off the beeping. It beeps if you are not within your target range and I got around the beep by making the range a lot larger than it should be. During spinning class it would beep during the warm-up and some hill or speed intervals...very annoying. The benefits far outweigh the annoying beep. I know that i try to work harder whenever I wear it and that's a huge rewards for me.
I really liked this heart rate monitor. It gave the amount of calories burned. It was easy to set up. I just wished it had a back light and it displayed my current heart rate. It just told me that I was in or out of my zone because of the height, weight and age I entered. It was comfortable but hard to read in spin class.
I am returning this item as soon as I get the chance. I used it twice and the first time I was running at a heart rate of 140 and then all of a sudden it said my heart rate was 199. The next time I used it, it stopped giving me my heart rate reading all together. The concept of the watch I loved: heart rate, time, calories, and the summary details. But it didn't work when I wanted it to.
