At first I thought my son would have trouble with this bottle because I exslusively breastfeed. Well my father fed my son his first bottle with my breastmilk and my son took it with ease. My son had no problem transition between me and the bottle. So now my husband can feed our son with no problem and finally get the bonding. The nipple design is awesome because my son sucks on it like he does on me. I recommend this bottle to anyone who is breastfeeding and needs to go back to work without worry about their baby going to have a hard time with a specific bottle. Now I have a sight of relieve that my son will be alright and not starve when I go back to work.
These bottles are a life saver!!! I love the Medela so I used those for 5 months but always struggled with th flow, my daughter would have to stop and take a breath then eat and let go again. With these, because of the controlled flow and the nipple insert, she can hold on for a long time and focus on eating which helps me get her to bed a lot faster!!
I just love these bottles I used them for my first baby 2 1/2 years ago and now with my 3 month old. Both of my girls took to these bottles very well, they are the only bottles I have used. I have been able to switch between bottle and breast with no problems, after solely breastfeeding for the first 3 months. I've read in some reviews that others have had problems with leaking, but thankfully I have not had any such issues. They are very easy to clean and to put together. Have not experienced colic or to much gas/fussiness with them either. They are the first and only bottles I have bought and tried and both girls love them and they just work great for me as a returning to work mom still committed to breast feeding.
I was introduced to these bottles by my Lactation Consultant. I purchased them before my son was born. I had an extremely difficult time getting my son to breastfeed so I was hesitant in using them in the interim. My LC suggested going ahead and introducing the bottle (which was before he was 3 weeks) because he was not opening his mouth very wide to latch when nursing. What do you know? This bottle actually helped us with his latching during nursing! I must specify that you need to ensure your baby is latching onto the bottle properly almost like they would during nursing. Do not let the baby only take the nipple into it's mouth. Make sure it has a wide open mouth. If the baby is latched properly on the bottle you will see the baby moving it's jaw by the ear and swallowing just like during nursing. I have had no trouble nursing and using these bottles back and forth throughout the day. One side note, I had to call the company to find out which nipple was stage one and stage two as I couldn't find anything in the package to let me know. If you look at the inside rim of the outer nipple it is marked there. You would need to unscrew the lid, take out the blue nipple and you should see it printed along the part that fits into the blue lid. Hope these bottles will work for everyone else as great as they have for me and my son!
I have a larger areola and nipple and had a time finding bottles my first seven years ago would take so I could return to work. I found a brand with a larger nipple and wide base and it was great...but 19 months ago those were no longer being made so I tried these for my now middle child.They worked like a charm and my easy to breastfeeding baby took right to them! Loved them, only complaint was the numbers wearing off, but it was already time to transition to a cup at that point. Had so much success I bought them in prep of my new arrival. He was three weeks early and wasn't latching well at first, so they supplemented him in the Nicu with tiny nipples bottles. He started to latch once I cut that out, replaced the pacifier with a larger nippled one, and really worked at it. At home, I still needed to supplement for the first week and hesitantly used these because he needed it, and i didnt want more confusion. Again, they were great! He had to work at latching to them and I firmly believe it helped him improve his latch overall....now he breastfeeds well, and only feeds from these when I need a break and dad wants to feed him! They're perfect and I know he'll take pumped milk from them when I go back to work! I would look at using a wider pacifier with these bottles if you intend to use one! I know it helped with my middle child having a more consistent feel with bottles/breast/binky! Awesome product for anyone who wants to nurse and needs to utilize bottle feedings too!

I cant say enough good things about these new bottles!!!! I exclusively breastfed my 3rd son for over 8 months and he never would take a bottle but I recently decided to give it up. What a nightmare. He wouldnt take any bottles I tried - Dr. Browns, Playtex. A nurse recommended these bottles to me and I went online and ordered the starter set with the bottle rack for $25! I love these bottles and so does my son. He took them no problem once I purchased them. What a relief. They mock breastfeeding as close as possible. To prevent leaking when you take the bottle apart to clean after a feeding pinch the sides of the nipple to drain the rest of the liquid back into the bottle. Can leave a few drops on the counter but I do not care!!!! These bottles are awesome...I am sooooo glad I purchased them!!!!!! If you have a baby that doesnt want to take a bottle....try these!!!!! You wont regret it.
Using these bottles got my 14 week old from breast and bottle to strictly breast. When I would go to work, he would have a hard time transitioning back to breast. Now, he doesn't hesitate to nurse!!! When he takes this bottle, it mimics a letdown effect then he has to work for he milk! Overall, very pleased with our experience!!!
My baby had poor latch on abilities. This bottle is good for feeding pumped breast milk until he got the hang of breastfeeding. I supplement him with (powdered) soy formula, and it has worked well for that too. The drawbacks to these bottles is that if you clean them by hand, you have to be very careful not to break the inner blue nipple, the measurements (which are painted on) on the bottle easily wear off (I use a separate bottle for measuring), and that once you put them in the dishwasher the lids will no longer click into the bottom of the bottles. You also have to be very careful to put the nipple ring on correctly (and tight enough but not too tight) or it will leak.
I'm very satisfied with these bottles. I was worried they would cause nipple confusion with my one week old, but this hasn't happened. The only annoyance that is easily remedied is the breastmilk gets caught between the two nipples. Other than that these bottles are awesome, and they come with a snack holder and bottle cleaner! Great bottle for the price.
