Purchased three for our granddaughters visits. My daughter-in-law already had three at home. The girls love them. We had zero problems with the trays and straps. The girls were safe and happy while at grandma and grandpa's. Added bonus was ease of taking boosters for overnight visits to other family members. Chairs are small and light for easy transportation. Clean up is also very easy.
My daughter started using this when she was 4mos and and she is almost 2 now and still uses it. I have not had any problems with it falling apart, and the fact that it has a serving tray makes clean up a snap. I take the tray off so she can sit at the table for dinner and she really feels like a part of the family. I plan on using this with her until she can sit tall in the regular chairs at the table. Also easy to fold up and take to restaurants also.
Very cute for your little princess. Nice not having to use the high chairs in restaurants that wobble or may not be very clean. Does not fold up flat like some of the chairs that attach to a table so it's a little more cumbersome to carry around but very light weight. My granddaughter LOVES it! The first time in it, she entertained herself for the entire meal just playing around and looking at the tray which allowed everyone to take their time and enjoy their meal.
I bought this seat for my 1 year old daughter for our up comming vaction. I got to try it out on the 4th of july. It was a great little seat. Easy to put together and take a part to clean. I would tell anyone who has young kids and they do a lot of traveling or visiting family that they should get this seat. I just love it
I love this little seat! We have a gathering table (taller) dining room set. My 3 year old really needs to be strapped in and I bought just a regular booster at walmart for $10 but it was too tall for her legs to fit between it and my table. So I researched a little and this is the perfect fit. The seat area is large enough for a 95 percentile 3 year old to fit comfortably and it is on the middle setting in terms of height so she will be able to use it for a while. Other reviewers are right, it is just a pink seat with a princess sticker...but it works well, feels solid and my 3 year old loves it.
This product was good, but if you were going for the Disney Princess theme just buy another one and put stickers on it becasue it only came with one puny sticker to put on the back. I was expecting a picture or something. I liked how it came with the dish set. My daughter loves the sippy cup and playing with the plastic fork and spoon.
I am most disappointed with the latching system of the tray to the chair. I like that the tray stays attached and swings out instead of coming all the way off the chair, but I don't like the way it "latches" to the chair when closed. If I don't have it latched securely, my daughter can push it open. Therefore, I make certain I seatbelt her in every time so she doesn't push the tray open and fall out. I also think the chair is cheaply made. I have a different travel highchair, and it is made of material that is much more durable.
I bought this because it was Disney princess. I also bought the toilet seat, toy box, and room-in-a-box for same reason. This chair is kind of cheaply made. The back of the chair is continually coming undone from the chair base, and the height adjustable part of the seat is broken. It will only go on the lowest setting. However, when it does work, it is great to take along when visiting friends and relatives who do not have high chairs for my 15 month old. The chair easily straps to any kitchen chair, and my daughter thinks she's in her high chair. For what I need it for, it works excellent.
I purchased this booster for my daughter last year because it was pink and adorable. Big mistake! It's is poorly made....falls apart easily. Now the back and seat are so warped from having to be continually put back together that it now will NOT go in at all. She was able to use it for all of 5 months and I gave up and threw it in the garbage where it belongs. I'm now on the hunt for a better made regardless of color.
Disclaimer: The actual seat I purchased is not here on walmart.com, but this one is the same,only with a different color set. I purchased a similar seat for meal times for my daycare kids. I was impressed with the price and it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. Taking it out of the box, I noted that it seemed a little cheap feeling... but hey... it was a cheap seat! We used it for one meal time, and the moment we swiveled the tray out, and one of the 1 year old kids put any pressure on the tray, it snapped right off... breaking the cheap plastic peice that held it on. Walmart was good about taking it back... but I did go ahead and purchase a different seat in the store... One with a removable tray topper. We love that seat! Bottom line, spend a few extra bucks (the one we bought in store, was a few dollars cheaper than the one we ended up with) and you will be a lot happier! HTH!
