My toddler was potty trained with this potty and found it to be easy for her to pick up and move around and use it! Also when she was a little bigger, she loved to stand on the step part and wash her hands. She now uses the step for reaching things and it is worth the money, instead of paying $60.00 for a stepper!
This toilet trainer has been wonderful! I like the fact that it provides extra support around the child. My daughter feels safer getting on and off the potty with the handles and back. The seat is very easy to set up and use. My daughter loves to use her "princess potty."
While we haven't had a chance to use it yet (my daughter is 1.5yrs old) my daughter has sat on it, played on it and dragged it around the house. It seems like a good enough product to perform its function. My only complaint is that the product I received was not the same color as in the picture above. The one that I ordered online and had it shipped to the store was 100% pink, not pink and purple like in the picture online. The Disney Princess sticker on it is also different, but does have 4 princesses on it.
My 2 yr old loved her new potty seat. It really encouraged her to sit and use the potty becuase it had her favorite characters on it. Also I didn't realize that it could also act as a seat that fits on top of the toilet which is a plus. 2 potty seats in one!
I got this for my 16 month old daughter to have when she is ready to use the potty. It is cute and moveable. The only issue I have is that the seat is a little far back for her little legs to give her the right placement on the seat as of right now but I suspect that by the time that things will correct themselves as she gets a little taller and is more ready to use it on a daily basis. Also, the decal is not already on the potty, which I had expected that it would be, but I was able to put it on with no problem; more of an annoyance then anything.
My daughter thought the potty was a toy, not a potty because it did not resemble what she saw me using. She loves to play with it, but will not sit on it. She prefers a potty that mimics mine.
The most adorable potty for a little girl, however the seat/bowl area is too small for my almost 2 year old to actually make it in the bowl. As an alternative, we placed the seat on top of the toilet - where it is supposed to sit at the next stage of training. The seat will not nest in the toilet, it keeps popping out which freaked my daughter out - now she will not use the potty at all. The only good part about this is the stool that the base turns in to.
I was very disappointed by this potty chair... we had previously purchased the unisex model by the folks who make this potty and loved that one so when it was time for my daughter to have one we purchased this one for her because she loves princesses and she was a girl... when we got it home the princesses were not on it or in the box... oh well we thought we'll keep it anyway no big deal it's still pink... but she won't use it because every time she sits on the potty part of it it pinches her bottom or her leg she uses her brother's instead... the seat you are supposed to let them potty in on that model is under the part the child sits on so no pinches from that model... overall I'd pay the 20.00 for the unisex model if I had to buy another one instead of the 25.00 I paid for a princess potty that isn't being used... My 2 year old is 27 pounds so she isn't all rolls of chub either, but this potty still pinches... she hates it but she does like her big brothers...his is the unisex model... it's blue and white with green handles...
The only problem with this particular potty is that the potty bowl is way to small. This is the 2nd potty I have purchased and unfortunately, I will be returning this one too. I don't like having to do that, because my daughter loves the look of the potty because of the pretty princess sticker.
I bought this potty chair for my daughter. One of the brackets that is supposed to hold the chair on the regular toilet seat came off and ended up flushed and wedged inside the toilet. We did not realize what was causing the clog, though. After spending money on augers trying to get rid of the clog and finally consulting a plumber, we were told that the toilet would have to be removed. After removing the old toilet, we found the bracket that was causing the trouble. So this potty chair cost us well over a couple hundred dollars, all told. If you buy it, DON'T put it on your toilet seat unless you want to inventory all the parts every time before you flush.
