Purchased for my elderly mother. Needed a light weight cup with a lid. The straws that come with the cup are too short but can be easily replaced with a longer one. I have been using the cups for six months and there have been no spills.
I really like these cups. They are easy to use and clean. Just make sure your toddler doesn't pull the straw out.
I bought this for my great grandson who is autistic because he needs straws to help with his mouth control and strengthen it and they suggested let him drink with straws. Works well and stays spill proof. Thank you Walmart for making these affordable for people with special needs
My hands are weak from a muscle disease so I've had a hard time finding a straw cup I can use. These cups are light weight and the lids are easy for me to snap on. Very happy I found them!
Love these cups. Our kids use them daily for smoothies and milk...for some reason they chew the straws so (or kids go missing) so we bought this extra set to help supplement. While they look like normal cups with lids/straws, they actually seal quite well. On many occasions I’ve sat down on the couch to find one of these cups laying on its side still filled with drink - but without having leaked at all surprisingly. My only tip is to make sure you put your finger over the straw when you put the lid on. If the cup is full at all, the pressure of closing the lid forces liquid up out of the straw and onto the lid/counter...so make sure to plug that hole.
My daughter buys these for her girls at home and she bought some while here on a visit. They are certainly strong enough to use over and over but if the kids like to bite on the straws, then you can just toss them out. I've put the set away that she bought while here and they will use them when they come again next year. Good value for the money.
I really like these cups but my son is going through a stage of throwing his cup to the floor when he is done with it and a few times the top has popped off and water or juice had gone everywhere. We have tiled flooring so it was an easy clean, but just annoying. Other than that they are great so far!
These are our go to smoothie cup for my toddlers. The only thing that we don't like is the straws are gone way before the cups and with over two years of trying I can't find straws that fit without leaking.
You literally have to fill the cup up, then put the lid on, then insert the straw in that order. Otherwise it shoots and sprays milk everywhere. Forget about refills and just taking the lid off and pouring- because you have to physically remove the straw for that too. Most annoying cups ever.
These cups are definitely not spill proof. They leak if tipped over. Waste of money! Very cheaply made.
