Best tasting hummus ever! All other hummus is boring and flavorless compared to this brand. I have visited several Walmarts looking for this product when my store is out. It's so good, it produces cravings. My favorite flavor and best with Pita chips.
Fresh and flavorful. Other flavors just as good.
My Favorite hummus, great flavor for those that like hummus. Always kept in the produce section next to the fresh salsa. Too good to keep with the common factory hummus.
Beyond good!
It is 8/1/13. The week of the 15th of July we bought the 12oz. Fresh Hummus Co. spinach-artichoke hummus. The "Best if used by" date, on the package was 08/04/13. The product code; G 150-20-49. On the 30th we took it from the refrigerator, opened it up and found that it had fungus growing on it. (Someone said, "Return it" We no longer had the receipt.) No one would dare eat it. Daring soul that I am, I removed about a half inch from the top and sampled it. I did not get sick. If I may offer a suggestion. When WE make hummus at home, we usually follow the recipe. The recipe tells us to cover the finished hummus with a layer of olive oil. I an SURE that if the "Fresh Hummus Company did this the it would extend the life of the product much better.
I usually buy Sabra but could not find it so I got The Fresh Hummus Co. brand instead. Naturally, I pulled off the top, tore away the seal, dug my Wheat Thin in and popped what I expected to be a similarly delicious snack into my mouth. A couple gags after contact, I spat out the tasteless mush in shock and wondered how the chick peas involved met such a sad end. The texture brought unseasoned overboiled squash with a touch of wax to mind, kind of a less flavorful Gerber product. If I had kept the receipt, I would return both 12 oz containers to Walmart because all The Fresh Hummus Co. accomplished with Spinach Artichoke Hummus is to make me grateful for Sabra.
