This box set caters to fans of Briton Pete Walker, one of the most controversial of all exploitation directors. It begins with Walker's most infamous picture, the 1975 House of Whipcord - in which a batty old woman and her son set up a private penal colony for women they deem immoral and torture the prisoners with whips and rats. Next up is 1978's The Comeback, with crooner Jack Jones as a washed-up singer who travels to England and becomes implicated in a case involving the grisly murder of his estranged ex-wife. 1977's Schizo follows the plight of a beautiful skier stalked by a deranged, homicidal fan just prior to her wedding. Finally, 1971's Die Screaming, Marianne concerns a 20-year-old nightclub performer hunted down by a bloodthirsty gang of extortionists weeks before she receives a vast inheritance from her biological father.
