The Pioneer Woman Ceramic Non-Stick Pattern Jumbo Cooker has a nice look and weight to it. I like the design but I dont see the pattern lasting too long in my house after some time washing. The cooker comes with care instructions but not everyone in my household who does dishes will read it. The durability of this seems very good. It has a nice deep size and cooks great. I made some barbecue baked chicken in the oven and it came out evenly cooked and tasted fantastic. The oven instructions was helpful because it let me know what safe temperature at the maximum it can hold. I like the fact that it is big enough to cook large meals for my entire family of seven. I also made my famous shrimp fried rice on the stove using this and the rice did not stick to the bottom like my other pot does. It comes with a small cookbook with five recipe's that includes blackberry cobbler and hamburger soup. Im am truly loving this ceramic cookware and cant wait to try more from the pioneer woman.
This seems to be made nicely. Durable non stick material in a deep cooker. Nice color with beautiful pattern. This blue will go with almost everything. Lid has a nice tight fit. The cooker is suggested to be hand washed. Also suggested not to use abrasive cleaners, pads & oven cleaners. The lid is hand wash only, no abrasives. It also suggests not to wash either piece while hot. Also, do not submerge pot into cold water while hot, you could damage the cookware and/or void the warranty.
First off the size of this pan a amazing. I easily made mixed fajitas in one pan. The surface is nonstick and has fairly good overall heating around the entire pan. The handle on the pan and handle on lid are both silicon covered to prevent burns. It washed out so easily also so no scrubbing. The other plus about this product is the design pattern. The blue/ flower design is so pretty. Definitely not your boring cookware. Certainly one I recommend trying. I have no complaints. *Received Free
You will fall in love with this Pioneer Woman porcelain enamel ceramic non stick frying pan ! It is just beautiful looking . Easy to clean. The eggs cooked to perfection and slid right off the pan . The lid stayed on perfectly tight .
I love the large size of this pan - I was able to fit an entire cabbage in it! That's a first for me I usually have to do 2 batches! Even better, it cooked evenly at a low temperature without any cooking oil. In addition it's a very pretty pan that I actually keep on my stove. Its solid and the handle was long and cool to the touch. I'll be purchasing additional pioneer woman products.
I have fallen in love with the dishes that The Pioneer Woman has created because I simply adore the bright colors and patterns. I have 4 of her pasta bowls, all of which have beautiful colors, as well as some coasters. I also purchased 2 dinner plates, as well as two “plain” scalloped dinner plates to mediate the heat from warm dinner plates. The one thing I had not yet purchased from her line was cookware, so I was excited to try the 5-quart Jumbo Cooker. The cooking area of the jumbo cooker is 10.5 inches across and 3.5 inches high and is convenient for preparing family-sized meals, like one-dish meals, or for lightly frying 4 salmon portions for a family of two! It is made of durable enamel aluminum, which is an excellent conductor of heat, so the pan heats quickly and quite evenly. This cooker can also be used in the oven up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. This ceramic non-stick pan is also free of PFOA and PFTE (synthetic compounds and chemicals). The handle is made of stainless steel and has a heat-resistant silicone coating, making it simple to transfer the pan without needing a potholder. I like that I can see through the lid because it helps me easily monitor if something is at a higher simmering point than needed (I have a couple of old Revereware pans don't have see-through lids!). I would characterize the size of this cooker to be about medium-sized. It's also quite deep, so perfect for those meals based on “meal-in-a-dish” ideas. The sides are a bit higher than my other pan, so it's easier to keep oil in the pan and off my stove (if it spatters), which is fantastic! I often cook two to three large chicken breasts at some point during the week (to keep my lunches simple!), so this size pan is perfect for that need. I just love the flowers (dahlias!) on the pan. I mean, why shouldn't every element of the cooking process be as delightful and beautiful as the next?! The quality of the pan is extraordinary, and the pan itself is thicker than any other pan I own. Please note that the pan is slightly convex, meaning that heated oil will naturally fall to the sides. That said, since it is a medium-sized pan, you don't need a lot of oil. I often use water when simmering chicken breasts, and I found I didn't need a lot of water either. I like that the heat was easy to control. I have found that some aluminum pans heat up so quickly that it's difficult to control the heat later, and I end up burning the oil. This has not happened with this pan. Overall, this 5-quart jumbo cooker by The Pioneer Woman offers a fabulous mid-size solution for your meal prep needs. (She even includes instructions for maintenance, cleaning and a little recipe booklet!) The colors are delightful, and the quality is fantastic. I am officially in love with her cookware! This is one choice you will be glad you made.
What a high-quality cooking dish! I knew it was pretty, and I assumed it would be good to cook with, but I had no idea how much. First, the white ceramic coating is actually a non-stick coating -- that works super well. Second, it's really quite large so I don't risk "crowding the pan" while cooking. Third, the curved sides work well for making sauces because my wisks fit into the curve so there isn't some leftover flour or seasonings in a clump in the corner as with most pans. Fourth, the bottom is quite thick so it evenly distributes the heat very well, so there aren't hotter and colder areas in the pan -- everything cooks evenly wherever it is in the pan, including silver dollar pancakes or steam-fried eggs. Fifth, the glass lid is a big help so I don't have to lift the lid to check on how far along things are cooking. Further, it is very non-stick, it just wipes clean with no scrubbing or anything. What's more, is I have found there is no need for using a lot of butter or oils while cooking. Instead, just a little bit works really well. Now, with the coating, I think it helps to let the pan gradually warm and cool before cooking or cleaning to help protect it. Loving this pan!
I absolutely love anything pioneer woman she never disappoints just like this jumbo cooker! I love the design on the outside very pretty and gorgeous color! I love how deep the pot is and that the bottom is more durable than the set I have. It is easy to cook on, doesn't burn and super easy to wipe out and clean!! Cook yourself a huge meal with this huge pot!
Wow, just Wow! I am obsessed with this Pioneer Woman Ceramic Non-Stick Pattern Jumbo Cooker. I've been a Stainless Steel or black item only purchases all my life, but this gorgeous vivid item caught my eye and I took the plunge and got it and have no regrets at all. I leave it out on my stove because it's so darn pretty and it inspires me to make new things, and also makes me feel happier when I'm in there cooking. It is incredibly well made, sturdy and thick but not too heavy. It's really large, big enough for lots of servings and leftovers, but won't fit completely in my sink. Thankfully the ceramic coated interior and durable enamel exterior clean really easily, even when I've been naughty and let it sit dirty till the next morning. It does have a bit of a convex bottom, when I melt butter or pour in cooking oil it runs to the edges of the pan, however it performs well at browning chops and sautéing veggies and grains quite evenly and absolutely no sticking or scorching. The lid fits very well, and the handle on top doesn't get hot even after a 20 minute simmer. I've had zero issues, and only positive results with every meal so far! I am impressed with this pan and will indeed purchase more of this cookware.
I love cooking one pot meals which are easy to make and easy for clean-up. I'm one of those persons who can not have too many pots. This is a jumbo cooker just as advertised, which does the job nicely for dishes like chili, swiss steak and chicken cacciatore to name a few. Pot is large enough for frying and regular cooking, too. The pot is sturdy and seems well constructed and durable and the lid fits properly. It's a great large size with a non-stick interior. Don't use with metal utensils. Can be used in the oven up to 400 degrees, with the lid up to 350 degrees. The lid has a vent hole. I'm not familiar with “The pioneer Woman” and not into “brands” but I like this pot and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. As with any quality cookware, take care of it properly and you can get many happy years of use with it. The pot's neutral decoration means it can fit into any décor.
