My wife was using this Pioneer Woman brand pan for a couple of times and she loves it. The color is beautiful (turquoise) and the nonstick interior finish feels good and works as must have to do. It looks as other expensive brands at a good price comparing with that brands. Design and color are great and we highly recommend this brand.
Y'all! This pan is so pretty I almost didn't want to use it. I just like the way it looks sitting on my stove.... but I had make something in it so I've browned hamburgers, made pork chops, even scrambled eggs to see how it holds up... it's done better than well. Still looks brand new. Nothing is sticking. And the robin egg blue is perfection. Reminds me of my mamas soup pot growing up. I m ready to buy more of the pioneer woman brand after this. The lid fits great and really like the rubber grip in the pan that covers the handles and the handle on the lid. It's a good touch especially for those of us who always forget to grab a towel because the lid is hot!
I love the pioneer brand pots and pans and everything else that goes in her collection! This everyday pan was no exception! The size is perfect for everyday cooking and for dishes like stir fry where you want that extra room and wok type pan to help with your stirring and mixture. I love the color! The turquoise is gorgeous and it has a speckled design with the color and I love it! The pan is great, it is non stick which you absolutely have to have especially when cooking stir fry but anything really. I have used this pan several times and I love that I can cook for my entire family of five in it or if I need to just make food for my husband and I either way the size is perfect! I also use her collection of cookware for ceramic non stick and those are fabulous as well! I would absolutely recommend this non stick pan and I love adding to my collection!
Was worried this wouldn't be big or tall enough, but it is plenty spacious. We used the tablespoon of oil to saute our peppers and they turned out great! It recommends warming pan gradually if planning to heat to high heat (most non-stick can't be used with high heat at all). Remember to cool before putting in wash water when finished cooking. Lid fits well and has a venting hole. I like that the pan can also be used in the oven. We also like the blue coloring although not a huge fan of speckling.
This Pioneer Woman cookware is a high quality, non-stick “wok” style frying pan. It is 12 inches in diameter, and is perfectly suitable for stir-frying. It is made of aluminum with outside porcelain enamel coating. The inside is non-stick Teflon coating, although the accompanying literature does not mention the word Teflon, nor give any information on the non-stick material. It is heavier than most frying pans. The pan comes with a glass lid. The glass lid has a very unusual feature I have never seen before: there is a small hole on top of the lid to release steam. A lid is necessary when the food requires longer time to cook, such as beef stew. A glass lid has the advantage of allowing you to see how the cooking is without lifting up the lid. The manufacturer has a word of caution for people with ceramic/glass stovetop. If the porcelain enamel cookware is overheated or allowed to boil dry, there is a danger of the cookware to fuse onto the ceramic/glass stovetop. I only have a regular electric stovetop. The cookware looks beautiful, but my primary interest is in the non-stick nature. One quick test is to cook scrambled egg. The pan passed the test with flying color. That is expected of a brand new non-stick pan. The real question is how long it will last. No non-stick pans will last forever, no matter how expensive it is. It helps if medium heat is always used and it is never allowed to boil dry.
I like the way this cookware keeps an even heat on an electric stove The non stick is good so far, only had the cookware for about a week and used it twice, cleaning was easy. I will try to pop in online and give more progressive input of this cookware.
I love everything about this Pioneer Woman Frontier Speckle Turquoise 12 Everyday Pan, from its bright, unusual color to the pride the company takes in this product which is evident in its craftsmanship. It arrived in perfect condition and was everything I expected it to be. I have enjoyed using my new pan which is large enough to make big meals and refrigerate left overs for my small family. I love it!
My review may be a tad bit biased as I'm a stainless steel lover. This pan came with tons of rules. No dishwasher, only plastic or wooden utensils, when stacking place paper between pans. This is the exact reason I'm not a fan of coated anything. With that said, the color is absolutely beautiful and the size is rather generous. This skillet is great for cooking things like hamburger helper or eggs and taters.
Warning! Don't buy if you have a flat top/ glass top stove. This was not clear at first. With that being said I used this pan in the oven to make a wonderful quiche. First time ever and it cooked perfectly! The handles are very comfortable to use. The lid has a nice fit. I would definitely recommend this product.
This is my review of the Pioneer Woman Everyday Turquoise Pan It is a very nice pan. It seems very well made. It sits evenly on my glass top burner. I love the turquoise color. I also love the heat resistant silicone handle on the pan and the lid. You definitely still need a pot holder though, when pulling it out of the oven. The glass lid has a steam hole in it, that is actually a big help. It is a very versatile pan...good size for one pot meals, sautés, and even stir fry. The pan actually reminds me of a wok. I suppose one could even fry foods that require only a few inches of oil. It would be nice if...along with the stamped words on the bottom...it also added useful information...like the oven safe temperature degree and pan size. I rarely use pans in the oven, because I can never remember if they are oven safe, or what the max temp is. It is recommended that you hand wash it instead of dishwashing, which I hate, but it is pretty easy to wash though. This is a nice pan, and I plan on buy some more of the set.
