A double feature, each starring an icon of the 1920s! The legendary Louise Brooks plays a fetching girl-next-door whose friend's marriage to a ne'er-do-well spirals them into poverty in "The Show Off" (1926, 82 min.), a well-made Paramount film which continues to impress decades after its initial release. Clara Bow as a fast-living jazz baby with a heart of gold ignites the screen in "The Plastic Age" (1925, 73 min.), a raucous collegiate comedy of Prohibition-era youth. A very young Clark Gable can be glimpsed in several scenes as one of Prescott College's charismatic revelers. Presented in Black & White.
