Bought this for my son for Christmas to go with his Ipod Touch. He loves it! Doesn't display any words like a regular karaoke machine though.
It only play the ipod music not the iphone. When I put the iphone on have no sound but when i switch back to ipod, it played the music. The quality of this karaoke pretty good. The only thing i don't like it just didn't play the music on the iphone, even though it said iphone karaoke.
I bought this for my kid for Christmas. It does exactly what I want it to do. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because after buying the Singing Machine App we found out that video on the TV does not work with the app. If you download a song into the ipod then the video come through fine on the TV.
The iSM 395 karaoke machine did not work as expected. The sound did not come out of the machine when the iPhone was plugged in; no sound and picture came out of the product when hooked to the TV, as directed. Worst of all, there is no technical support to solve problems related to connectivity and the SMC karaoke manager software did not function well. They request an e-mail as their preferable means of contact. Ours was an emergency situation and no one was available to help us. We bought this product for use at a Christmas party; now, we are having to look for an alternative. I spent more than 24 hours trying to solve the problems related the machine. I am not a novice with audio/video equipment. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my niece and it did not work as described!! My brother spent several hours trying to get the words to play on the TV and it would not work. Also, the app is a joke. Don't be fooled, most of the songs are just demos. They returned it and picked her up another brand. So disappointing!!
