In the past he has raised and overthrown monarchs, battled legendary monsters and saved the lives of many. Now Geralt embarks on his most personal quest to save his loved ones and protect the world from an ancient threat. The story is drawn based on player decisions. Each action will have consequences which change the story and the game world. NPCs, communities, monsters and locations all change, based on player choice. The Witcher 3 is standalone adventure, easily entered into by new players. Witcher fans will find subtle references to their adventures, but these elements are not necessary to enjoy the game fully. A breathtaking cinematic introduction demonstrating the game background - this puts players immediately in the know about the situation in the war-ravaged Northern Kingdoms and the background story of the main character. Unique atmosphere, memorable characters and gritty dialog - the game world has its own unique feel. It is a classic dark fantasy tale that will appeal to fans of all kinds of fantasy stories.

It's my favorite game on the xbox one currently, even better than gta v. LOADS of content, no micro transactions which is worryingly common on newer titles, and just a great experience in general. Must buy.
This game is great. Love the story that it has to tell. Never played either of the first two and feel I was able to understand it pretty well still. Highly recommended! I think of it aso a cross between GTA and Zelda.
A must have for all next gen users best thing about it was it was apart of my xbox 1 bundles no extra cost so i loved it
Got this for a gift for our Grandson, he loved it. Great quality and met expectations as described in Walmart description. Great service from order to delivery.
When i bought this package i didnt realise that i came with all the extra stuff. A very pleasant suprise. The Play Through is very challenging, even on the easiest mode, but overall fun game... Well Worth the money. I like the open world concept.
Great game, showed up on time. Best RPG I have ever played.
Better price online than in store, and it even came with the bonus content
Over all, it's worth the money. The game itself is easily packed with hours of content, lots of fighting, in-game choices that determine how the game plays out, leaves you thinking, and it's got some pretty good combat mechanics to boot! The map's pretty extensive, too. Luckily the fast travel system works pretty well, and even then, your horse is still pretty fast and summonable, so travel isn't a problem in the slightest. The lore goes beyond standards, and finally, the way the people and creatures look is breath-taking. It's time consuming, though. Be sure to be ready to go on a crossroad binge riding a horse here, there, and all over the place! This place is HUGE.
As an Elder Scrolls fan and a first-generation Polish-American I was extremely thrilled to see that a "Skyrim-type" game created by Polish developers based on the Polish book series "Wiedzmin" was this well done and this popular. It's not quite as "open-ended" as Skyrim, but the main quest has a good storyline, there are many interesting, entertaining, and rewarding side quests, and plenty of crafting options. The world is very beautiful and unique and very well crafted. I have experienced no glitches thus far on my Xbox One and have found the entire game to be very fun and enjoyable. It's definitely a unique, high-quality series with interesting lore and a distinct medieval Eastern European immersive atmosphere that I feel lends well to the fantasy genre. From Geralt's dry ironic humor to some of the more intensive elements of the game this adventure does feel slightly more serious than Skyrim or even Shadows of Mordor, but overall it's very enjoyable despite some more mature moments that not everyone might enjoy. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised by this game and am greatly enjoying Geralt's person and adventure thus far!
This game looks great, but the controls are wonky. This series would benefit from making your own character rather than being stuck with a 90's cartoon Wolverine wannabe.
