I almost didn't purchase this subwoofer because the satellite speakers sound so good on their own, but honestly, I'm sure glad I did get this amazing subwoofer. It simply ads the final bottom boom to the theater sound system effect. I now feel like I am at a THX theater. The bass will shake my walls and my home is stucco with 2x6 construction. Truly amazing. Setup is a snap. You need a GOOD WiFi network with a high speed router. If you skimp on that, then you may experience some issues. I have a high speed network with a high end high speed wireless router, and I have had zero trouble with any of my Roku speakers since day one. FIVE STARS PLUS!
I have had the Roku Subwoofer for quite some time now. It is paired up with the Wireless Speakers and a 43" Insignia Roku TV in my guest room. It has performed incredibly well and brings the BOOM to all of my favorite movies. Try it with The Greatest Showman and you will see what I mean.
I received my product earlier than expected. Setup was a "no-brainer" and pairing was just as easy. I wasn't expecting it to add as much depth as it has to my system. It works nicely with my Roku wireless speakers. Such a clear & crisp sound is added through the additional bass, it's crazy. Sometimes I think someone is knocking on my door or the walls because of the way it works. I'm not one that really cares for a lot of bass, in fact my RoKu TV sound settings were "bass off". I'm normally just fine with no bass & some treble. Obviously, I didn't know what I was missing until I added this SW to my system. I've had no performance issues with pairing or keeping it paired. In fact I have had more issues with my wireless speakers than with the SW. I can't wait until they finally figure out how to add the soundbar to the speakers & subwoofer, then my system will be complete.
I ordered this Subwoofer as soon as it became available to go with my TCL 6 Roku TV and Roku Wireless Speakers. It arrived a few days early and setup was incredibly easy. The test sounds startled me because they were so loud! I listen to a ton of music through Pandora, YouTube, and through Bluetooth with my phone. Wow! The low end has been brought to life! What a great addition to my system!
I purchased the Roku speakers as soon as they came out. While they are quality speakers, I felt a good subwoofer would complete the package. I harped on Roku for months... apparently everyone else did too. When I received, I was really pleased to see this was a solid, high quality sub. I had it unpacked and set up within 5 minutes. The sound is great and I've had no issues. I'm so pleased I purchased this to cmplement the Ruku speakers.
It is a good buy, it is wireless, it can be placed anywhere in the room, the sound is clear, it does not distort the bass
I love this subwoofer. I purchased it to go with my Roku Streambar and it works great!! Very easy to setup. Just push the Home button for 5 seconds and a pairing screen pops up. Select subwoofer and thats it. So easy. It really packs a boom. I love it. I got it because its a Roku and it pairs with my streambar nicely. Highly recommend this product.
It's alright. I was expecting to hear more bass out of it since da box is kinda huge but naw it just sounds ok. I recommend buying something different.
So I bought the subwoofer to go with my Roku TV and speakers. I called in Dec 19th only to learn that “workers with Roku TVs” means not MY TV - would have been useful to know! Customer Service told me it would work with OS 9.2.6 at some point in January - ugg. Today my TV is FINALLY on 9.2.6 aaaaaaaannd? NOTHING! Can't connect or recognize the subwoofer. Subwoofer isn't even a menu option. Customer Service now (Jan 9) tells me I'll have to wait for a version beyond 9.2.6. Soooo, maybe NEXT month? This is getting dumb at this point. Roku, you REALLY messed up the rollout on this one. (Unless your goal was to collect payments on a product that doesn't work, in which case, GOOD JOB! You have my money and while I have a non-working cube.)
Bought the wireless subwoofer with the speakers, did the software update, and I have the software that is supposed to work with the subwoofer, along with the speakers. Paired the speakers, that works great and sounds awesome. But then I was supposed to be able to pair the subwoofer. It wont. Now I am seeing that if I have a Roku TV 5105x, and it looks like this isn't going to work with this TV. Is this true?
