I heard good things about 100% pure eye palette's but - WOW I am amazed!!! It's so convenient to have eye shadows, blush and highlighter all in one - perfect for travel and everyday looks. The colors stay on all day and are pigmented beautifully. 5 stars a hundred times over! Thank you 100% pure!
I'd been back and forth about this and am so glad I gave in and got it. I think this would work for skin tones "Toffee" and below. For reference: my skin is between 'White Peach' and 'Peach Bisque' (race:Polynesian/Italian, lots of yellow undertone), dark brown/black hair. I prefer the "no-makeup" make up look and this is great for that. The eye shadows start a little sheer but can be built up and do not crease at all. The blush is surprisingly very pigmented; a little goes a long way; compliments my skin tone beautifully. My only small complaint is that the Highlighter is a bit too pink for my skin. Instead of highlighter, I've been using it as an all over eye color. Despite that, I still give it 5 stars and highly recommend it. I love how easy it will be to bring this when traveling.
I am a big fan of palettes and this is my first palette I've purchased from 100% Pure. I have to say I am loving this palette! The colors are beautiful, every single one of them! They are perfect for every day wear and there are endless options because you could totally use the highlighter and blush as eyeshadows too! It's a stunning palette for enhancing your natural beauty!
After all the reviews I thought this neutral palette would be perfect for my fair/porcelain skin tone. For reference, I'm a perfect match for the Alpine Rose foundation (porcelain with pinkish undertone). First time I went to use this, I was surprised by the amount of product my makeup brushes picked up after barely a swipe of the makeup, and how much went on my face despite tapping excess off first. Looked a bit heavy. This was a bigger issue with the blush than the eye shadow. Since then I have practiced having an even lighter touch and I am not having as much of an issue. Now that I know a little goes a long way, I am confident this makeup will last me much longer than expected, which is great considering the price. The neutral eye colors are very nice. The blush is a little bit deeper of a shade than I expected and a little goes a long way. Staying power seems quite good. Overall I think I still prefer the color range of the Physician's Formula neutral eye shadow palette that I was using prior to this, but these are pretty good and of course all natural. Some have complained about how it doesn't have a built-in mirror or come with any brushes, but I have come to prefer my full size brush set over any typical brush that one usually gets with a makeup kit. I also prefer a regular wall mirror over one in any compact. But, I don't generally reapply eye makeup through the day, so I guess I just don't need it in the compact. I would say if I have one petty issue with this palette it is simply how large the whole package is overall. Not a big deal as I don't carry eye makeup around in my purse everyday, but for travel (as I write this, I have a trip to pack for tonight), this is awfully big to try and fit into my travel toiletries/makeup bag. I am going to have to leave it at home and take the Physician's Formula palette with me instead because it is more compact.
This is the first brand of makeup I have been able to wear without getting headaches. The blush is a little dark for me. I am ill experienced with wearing makeup as I rarely wear it due to headaches. (I still need to practice with application) This one has been great for me.
Eyeshadows are highly pigmented. I was expecting more of a rose/taupe color for the eyeshadows (I was reading the descriptions about the colors and looked at the swatches on the blog), but it ended up being more bronzy. However, it is a pretty palette and I'll use it up. The shadows do blend well so I can make a nice smokey eye. I do use a nude eyeshadow primer as a base, per a recommendation I saw on the blog. The blush and highlighter last all day, and I don't even use any face primer!
I love this palette! The colors are perfect for everyday use. The blush, in my opinion, is the best color and I use it as an eyeshadow too. But there are still a few troubles like the second eyeshadow and the highlighter can get chalk, but that might just be me. It's still great and I would recommend it to anyone.
The colors are very pretty and natural, perfect for a "no-makeup" look, subtly enhancing. However, make sure to prime before so the colors will apply smoother. Also, this palette is not for those looking for pigmented eyeshadows, it is more for an everyday look. Overall, it is nice but I would've liked a more buildable, blendable formula.
I think the palettes are good products and good value, though they've gone up in price, if you are able to use everything in them. I don't use blush or luminizer, however, I still felt that it was worth it for three eyeshadows since I have been on the hunt for the perfect shimmery, medium brown. I always try to do my best research on the site to know what to expect and when I opened it, my husband actually made fun of me for how excited I was. However, when I applied the medium brown, on my “peach bisque” complexion, I realized when I smoked it out into the outer corners of my lids that it has a reddish hue, which is not what I am going for. I then applied the darker brown and realized, it is not a true brown either but, charcoaly. So, just be aware that the medium brown is a copper hue and the dark brown is a charcoal hue. If that is what you're going for, you'll be golden.
This palette is similar to the one that came out a few years back minus the lip products...please make other palettes for other complexioned! These colors don't show at all on a medium complexioned person. Love 100% PURE but this should be labeled as Palette for Fair Complexions!
