If you have DDR and are using the original dance mat, this is a MUST buy! Especially if you use your game every day like I do. The foam is nice and thick and I am able to dance alot longer than with the mat that came with the game. My feet are thanking me too. I like that it's wireless too. The only thing negative I can say is that one of the zipper tabs broke right away but there are 2 so I didn['t care much. Plus, once you've zipped it up there's no need to take it apart again.
My daughters love this product. I only wish the actual game came with one of these mats instead of the wired one it comes with. This product is sturdier than the one that comes with the game. We love it.
I had a lot of problems with the original dance mat slipping and bunching up. This is easy to assemble and never bunches up because of the foam pad. The wireless connection works great and is really helpful when you have 3 dance pads going at the same time.
We absolutely love this dance mat. It's a lot thicker than the original mat that comes with the DDR, and the fact that it's wireless makes it all that much more enjoyable as you not limited to having the mat right in front of your set. I bought it for my 10 year old daughter's BD but I use it as much as my girls.
This is definetly worth the money paid for it. It is a sturdy (1" thick durable foam inner) mat which won't crinkle or crease the minute you start moving around. We decided to go for the wireless mat and am so glad we did.
These mats work wonderfully! I use them in my carpeted living room with no issues. I had similar pads for my original XBox and used them for almost 4 years (they still work, we just don't use the XBox anymore). The wireless functionality is fantastic. Simply plug the receiver into the Gamecube controller port on the Wii and turn on the mat. I did have an issue with one not working at first, and I had to disconnect the dongle then reconnect and voila, no more issues. The non-slip pad is mostly non-slip. The pad still moves around a little bit (maybe by a foot during one song) so we have to move the pad back to the original spot in between each song.
I bought this hoping to have a more firm and smooth surface to work out with. But it did not handle my weight very well. (220+)The foam changes the shape when I dance on it. I ended up liking more the original one that comes with the DDR2 game. My 6 years old however, loved this one very much so I am keeping it.
