Talkabout Two-Way Radios offer a 14-mile range on GMRS frequencies. Communicate without racking up expensive charges or relying on cell towers. Compact and rugged design is light enough to fit in a pocket. A total of 22 channel options with 121 privacy codes provides a total of 2,662 combinations. Features iVOX hands-free communication without the need of an audio accessory, QT (Quiet Talk) interruption feature, backlit display, LCD battery meter, audible low-battery alert, 10 call tones, keypad lock, time-out timer, advanced priority scan and mini-USB charging port. Each radio uses either three AAA alkaline batteries that last 16 hours or NiMH rechargeable batteries that last 10 hours. Two-way radios include two NiMH battery packs, two belt clips, one charging adapter and one dual drop in charger.
