Closest taste to a Americano coffee that I could make without an espresso machine. Very true to advertising on espresso style coffee.
In my opinion, Cafe Bustelo Espresso "Style" Coffee is very smooth with excellent Espresso flavor. The price is right for a morning brew.
Love expresso this one is a family favorite growing up. My fellow Puerto Ricans can relate. Love I can have one cup and the energy I need for my day. Great quality if you like strong coffees.

I have a Starbucks expresso machine and the new Keurig cofffee/expresso machine. I can't tell the difference between Cafe Bustelo pods to the Italian roast ground coffee expressoMedaglia Doro when making lattes. So much easier to make using the pods.
As a European in Texas I have found Café Bustelo works amazingly well with Keurig. The brew cup sizes don't run low enough (I'd love a 6 or even 4oz option) for a truly thick kicker but, using the high strength button and slow feeding into a mug, with a little microwave heated then frothed heavy cream or milk already to receive that fragrant stream of coffeet, produces a very genuine tasting strong dark roast from the 8 or even 10 oz settings. Froth in some Turbinado sugar with the small amount of cream before brewing if you like your coffee sweet or go for preheated and whisked condensed milk for a I Cuban cortadito. I find the acidity of Café Bustelo perfect without any sugars and go for just enough cream to deliver a dark noisette.
If you need a boost of energy this is the best and only coffee that's ever worked for me. I've tried energy drinks all types of coffee brands and roast caffeine pills teas all of it and nothing works but this right here wow I love it.
