I am use to the long mitts and pot holders, but these are cute, stylish, and comfortable. Protects better than pot holders, and I don't need the extra fabric going up my arm. I should have bought these a long time ago.
Better Homes & Garden's Mini Oven Mitts are adorable. Of course they are also a safety mitt for your hands when cooking. I especially like them for my Air Fryer oven. They are not bulky like conventional oven mitts; [with an Air Fryer, you only need to grab the front edge of the racks]. Your hand slips right into the mitts without needing your second hand to pull them on. If you don't have an Air Fryer, don't despair, these cutie mitts are also useful in large ovens; but they do not cover your wrists or arms if you are reaching deep within. The silicone grip is wonderful for hot pans that may have gotten oily, and the big thumb gives you good leverage to support a removable shelf that may also carry a heavy steak. These mitts are soft inside, with heat resistant exteriors up to 500 F and wash up just fine in the washing machine. The directions suggest cold water. Since I selected the bright red color, I use cold water and am careful to only wash them with like colored items. I just hang these back up damp from washing. The directions say to lay them flat to dry. They dry fluffy overnight either way, and are fresh and perky the next day.
I live in a house with a small kitchen and my drawers for storage are also small. These shortened mini oven mitts fit well into them. They give my hands protection against the heat of dishes taken out of the microwave or oven. See picture where they fit to my wrist. I love the grippy striping so I feel secure that the dish wont slip. The loops at each end can be used to hang them on a hook if desired. The color goes well with my slate blue decor.
These mini oven mitts are just the right size. Covers my hands completely, thick and durable, and look great. Most oven mitts are so huge that they are bulky and get in the way more than anything. These are perfect. They fit comfortably, are easy to maneuver in, and look really nice. They are perfect. Just the right amount of thickness to prevent burning but not to much to be awkward. Best oven mitts I ever owned. I know that the quality is very good as well not just because they are from Better Homes & Gardens, which does mean quality, but they are really well made. The stitching is nicely done, secure, and sturdy. These should last me for quite a while. Would strongly recommend.
I love these silicone lined oven-mits/pot holders! They are very thick and comfortable. I've been using them with my cast iron and have been very happy!
Love these low-cut potholder mitts.They are Much easier to use than most oven mitts, bigger mitts are too bulky.You can grasp the edges of a cookie sheet or grab the handle of a frying pan much more easily with these mitts. They are very functional, heavily insulated and let you get a solid grip on whatever you need.I also love how they came packaged with a bow making them perfect for gift giving. I recommend these as a nice addition to your kitchen.
I really love my Better Homes and Gardens mini pot holders! They are a convenient size but still offer plenty of protection. I chose the grey mini pot holder with the white silicone stripes. I had my son wear them so I could take pictures. He is 6' and you can see these still fit nicely even on a guy. They come up right around your wrist so there is coverage. I was having to use our old potholders that go up my arm to use my Insta Pot, but they are bulky and just too big. These mini pot holders from Better Homes and Gardens are perfect, just what I needed. The silicone stripes that run the palm of the hand allow a sturdy grip on whatever you are holding. It is easy to open them and pinch them shut, not too stiff or too bulky. I would love more color options, but these are in a drawer when not in use, so that isn't quite a big enough deal to not purchase them. I would definitely get these again. I really like the Better Homes and Gardens brand. I like the quality and the prices. These are great for your own kitchen or as a gift for a first apartment, Mother's or Father's day in a gift basket with a cookbook, a few kitchen gadgets and maybe a few kitchen towels. I would definitely recommend them.
It is often a balancing trick to combine aesthetics & function, but the Better Homes and Gardens 2 Pack Oven Mitt does a great job. Not only is construction very good, but the medium gray color helps to make stains less noticeable, and their size allows both large and small hand insertion. Prior mitts of this function were too small for my hands, but these are not. The only drawback I notice is that the polyester filling is a bit thin making this not a good choice for a red-hot pot or skillet. Nevertheless, the ease of use it provides makes up for that very seldom need. For an added bonus there is no label requiring hand washing, so cleanup should be a breeze.
This set of Better Homes and Gardens Mini Oven Mitts is both stylish and functional. They are presented with a cute tied up ribbon which makes them easily giftable. The pot holders are thick, comfortable to wear, fit my hands perfectly, and I am able to get a secure tight grip on the bakeware while using them. The color is slightly maroon. Even though the oven mitts are considered to be a mini-size, they still completely cover my hands and up to my wrist. They are easier to put on than my other oven mitts. I like to use these particularly for cookie sheets or other lightweight pans when I mostly just need a good thumb and finger grip. The mini hot pads are heat resistant up to 500 degrees. The pot holders have a hanging loop so they are easy to store on a hook. They also have non-slip silicone grips (white lines) on the inner palm side. The outer material is cotton while the inner lining is made of terry cloth. They can be machine washed in cold water, no bleach, and then laid flat to dry. They can also be ironed if necessary. Overall, these mini-oven mitts are thick, protective, and very stylish.
What I like about the Better Homes and Gardens Mini Oven Mitts: The high quality of the outer fabric and generous inner padding provide great insulation from the heat of hot items. Their size is especially good for those with small hands; full size oven mitts are often dangerous for me because they are so bulky that I can't get a good grip on hot items. They are well made and seem like they will withstand many years of use. What I don't like about the Better Homes and Gardens Mini Oven Mitts: When you remove the tags you end up with two visible holes on each side of the mitts; destroying their looks. This dissuades me from buying them to give as gifts. I find their shape awkward for removing things like bowls and plates from the microwave. It's also difficult to grip pot handles. I find them most useful for removing cookie sheets, pizza pans and casserole dishes (when hand is in mitt place thumb on top rim of casserole dish and rest of hand under casserole dish) from the oven. I think they would be much more usable if they were narrower and a tad longer. It would be great if you could offer them in different hand sizes like Small, Medium, Large
