I purchased this WAHL groomer to use on my Shih Tsu. The cost of grooming is WAY TOO HIGH!!!!!!! Due to 'hot spots' on our little boy, he needs to be groomed at least every 5-6 wks and the cheapest I could find for a groomer was $31.00 each visit!!!!!!! When you add in the cost for gas, then you find this neat Trimmer for a FANTASTIC price of $12.88 ~ do I really need to say more???????????? The ONLY CON I can say is ~ I really wish they had more stars to give this WAHL Performer 21!!!!
I received these clippers today and I promptly put them to work, cleaning up the mess my last pair of clippers left behind. Just like all the other Wahl clippers I had, these didn't let me down! I was able to shave my head a LOT closer than the off brand clippers I had before. I also cleaned up my beard and moustache and it made my face look a LOT better. These are quieter and don't pull my hair when I cut. The price was the best I have seen Wahl clippers go for, and the cheapest I have paid for a pair. The quality of build and performance did not let me down one bit!! I am going to PROMPTLY throw my old clippers away, and have years of performance with these. Vernon
I have only used it once but it did very well !! With the other one i was using it would pull on my husband's hair and hurt him but this one just glides though no pain at all !!
These clippers are easy to use and very inexpensive. I use mine to trim my dog and they pay for themselves on the first use. Petsmart charges $40.00 per cut and I can do as good a job with these and save the money.
My husband I bought it so that I could cut his hair for him rather than paying for hair cuts. I have used it a few times already and I am grateful for all the tools it provides and its super easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to cut someone's hair.
I got this clipper for myself but now my dad uses this and I use it to trim up my little dogs. It works perfectly. It's so quiet too, I was kind of surprised when I first got it. The kit comes with everything you need. This was an amazing price for such a high quality product.
Just keep the blade oiled, this clipper will last a long time!
Very pleased with the low price of this unit, Walmart's low-cost shipping and the perceived value of this set. I've only used it once so far so and that experience was fine. As with so many of these kits, the combs for cutting seem to be fragile and easily broken, but the cutter seems robust and will hopefully provide long-term service use. Frankly, I don't like to review anything until I've used it many times, so read this with the understanding that one single use tells you very little of substance.
Yeah, one of the guide combs was missing, I think number 3 or 5 or something (can't remember). I was too lazy to send it back or contact Walmart for it. The product is nothing fancy, but for this price, it is of good quality. There's very little sound when the clippers are powered on, and they give a decent cut. But I was annoyed because of that one missing part.
Just a little heavy. But for the price it is very good choice. I got the first one damaged which I returned to the store but tried again and got a perfect one. Overall, I would recommend for anyone who doesn't have problem lifting a little heavier hair cutting machine.
