I absolutely love this Maxwell House Decaf. I've been drinking it for years. It's the first decaf coffee that actually smells like coffee each and every time you open the jar. Always my first choice for decaf instant coffee because it has a rich flavor.
I tried the great value brand first and it wasn't bad, but this made me much happier. I had to give up regular coffee, so imagine my surprise when this tasted like a cup of my Maxwell house. This coffee is less acidic than great value and has that distinctive Maxwell house flavor. Also comes in a plastic jar.
This coffee lives up to it's slogan --Good to the last drop! 👍👍👍👍👍
The smell alone makes my morning bright.I drink this brand all the time and truely enjoy everything about it! Ecept running out!! lol
I find most decaf coffees to be bitter and have the aroma ( and there is no nice way to describe it) like dirt. I had read from an America's test Kitchen Cookbook that their recommended decaf is Maxell House , and that recommendation is spot on! Upon removing the vacuum seal I got a pleasant aroma; notes of caramel and dark chocolate. The aroma changed once i added hot water but i noticed It felt smoother to drink(maybe it was just my imagination since I was happy so far with this decaf and wanted to find one i really enjoyed to drink). Overall a pleasant coffee experience this will be my go-to decaf coffee : )
I bought this brand because it costs less than what I have used for a long time. Maxwell House is just as good in taste and better in price. That can't be beat.
I can still get Maxwell coffee but not locally. It must be shipped. I received it no more than 2 day later. Great job. Thank you for your service.
Just add hot water for delicious coffee. This is a great substitute for when you want the balanced flavor of roasted beans but not caffeine to keep you up at night. The jar closes tightly to allow the mix to stay fresh. Consistent great taste at an affordable price. Aroma could be stronger but not a deal breaker. Not always available at mass retailers so when I see it on the shelf, I'd buy it.
Never received therefor should not be charged.
