Four years ago when I had my first daughter I used these bottles. Definitely helped me get some sleep. Used them for my second daughter and they are still working great!
I have the glass and plastic ones! They are great... I started my daughter on them at 3 wks of age because she wouldnt take on to the other ones I purchased! She loves these and they are easy to clean-they come with a small brush to help you get in the crevices!She hasnt had colic...she rarely spits up..and she hardly has gas! My only problem is if the middle part is not pushed all the way up..the bottle will leak!
I shall always prefer glass to plastic (BPA free or not), and the reviews were helpful in choosing this product. I am happy with the performance and will recommend it. Cleaning is a bit lengthy and also the nipple base will not fit without the innertube there. The markings go off quickly with washing which is strange, so maybe engraving it might help(a product improvement tip for the manufacturer). Overall a great product and controls colic for the little stomach.
Love these bottles. I started to use these bottle when my baby was 2 mos old. The glass bottle is safe because I dont need to worry about the BPA thing. I dont mind about the extra parts because these parts helped my baby have less gas. I will continue use these bottles and would recommend these bottles to other parents.
These are the best! - A colic baby is a challenge for sure! After trying MANY different bottles, my little one loves these the best, and it has cut down on the irritation. - Only warning I have is to not let them lay on thier side! - But these are all we use now!
Okay so I was struggling to spend that much money on a bottles, but it's worth it. They work so much better than the others. There are some parts (nipple, lid, bottle, and 2 parts that go inside). They a pain to clean but I just have hot soapy water that I put them all in as a feed my son. At night I wash them and set up all of the bottles for the night and day (we have 12 bottles, so I just fill them up with the nursery water, put powder formula in sperators. When it's time I just pour, shake, and go). All of the dr's recommend this. If your baby has colic or gas issues than you will love this! It helps so much!
My baby was born Jan 2, 2009 and on day three he would not stop crying. The colic was so bad that I did not know what to do I had tried everything possible. By now he was four weeks old and decided to buy these bottles even though they were a bit pricey. These bottles are worth there weight in gold! My son is no longer colicky and he no longer cries. I can sleep now.
Excellent product, I am totally sold on this brand. In my opinion this is the best bottle we could find and now it is BPA free too! The bottles are getting harder to find on the store shelves, but they are worth the waiting and searching. The milk or formula flows well and our child ingests much less gas as a result of the flow delivery system employed by the Dr. Browns bottle.
I bought this bottle for my breastfed baby and it was the only one she would never refuse. It does seem like she didn't swallow as much air with these, but I have to admit they are quite a chore to keep clean. I ended throwing out the inner parts as they became corroded with dry formula. Afterwards, I found the bottles leak and the nipples colapse w/o the inner part. 4 stars just for the fact she would take the bottle though. And a tip: unscrew the cap a little when you heat them up in a pan of water, otherwise the forumula/milk will leak from the top of the bottle.
I ABSOLUTELY hate these bottles! I would not suggest anyone waste their money on these! I'm glad I got them as a gift because I would never buy them!!! They do nothing for my sons gas, they leak EVERYWHERE, there are sooo many pieces to clean, and they are not worth the money at all! big waste!
