Oh my goodness! The steaks I received were sub par at best. I’ve complained about this problem with bad looking meat. Also, the shopper picks are often have to be eaten in 2 days or frozen. I offered my services for free if they would let me come in and work with the shoppers a few hours teaching how to select best beef, chicken, and ribs. I hoped this service would improve over time. Meeting output quotas seems more import to Walmart than providing a much needed service. I’ve had neck surgery twice and can’t lift over 5 lbs. So, I use the pick up service frequently. My suggestion to everyone is buy your own meats, pork and chicken.
The reviews were correct to a point. My steak had a 6 day expiration date but they didn’t look fresh; and they did have a lot of fat. This is not a shopper issue. They can only choose from what the store has purchased.
This Walmart carries the fattiest meats I have ever come across. I'm actually really angry! You guys picked my order and substituted steaks that are almost 40% fat. This is totally unacceptable! Looks nothing like the picture.
I loved using this service… However, the steaks that I ordered are out of date as of today.. I did not plan to cook them today. And certainly not two of them… So not happy about this!
I am appalled I have just received my order the Ribeye Steaks arrived old the fat and marbelling has already turned green and the beefy areas, instead of red are showing aging dark brown on top of that it's expiration date is today's dat 12/09/2022. We will not even consider consuming something that is harmful for Man or animal ! Shame on you Walmart! We demand retribution.
These Two Angus ribeye steaks that cost me over $30 were nothing but fat. Could not tell it by looking at it but full of fat on the inside. Buyer beware! And photo this was all on one steak
The ribeyes looked great but when I was putting the groceries away (car side pickup) there was an offensive industrial smell mixed in with burt plastic smell, I mean, it was so strong that the grocery bag smelled then when I pulled the meat packing unopened out of the bag my nostrils burned! The good part is the return was online with no need to return, I ran it out to the outside trash immediately!!!!
Very disappointed! Steak's are mostly fat and I wasn't expecting to pay $28.00 for this. Not happy at all with this item. Tried doing an online return but can't because message I kept getting was "we are having technical issues". I need a refund for this.
I ordered a packed of 3 of T-bone steak, it was ok for me to substitute it but I got only 1 steak. I invited a friend for dinner and have no choice but split the 1 steak. I’m not going to order again and planning to cancel my subscription
Was overcharged on final receipt compared to product sticker. And Even though these are the premium “Angus” steak it was extremely fat. I ordered two packs
