Works wonderfully for me, and most floss does shred on me. This one does NOT. Don't know what problems the other reviewer had. This is the smoothest floss I've found.
This is the best floss I have used. It's not as wide as brand name floss that can be very irritating. I just wish it was available online.
I believe it is better than the name brand at 1/3 less cost. It shreds very little. Even the plastic housing and the blade seem to be made better. If you have teeth that are close together this is the best product for regular flossing.
I have extremely tight contacts - even my dental hygienist has trouble flossing my teeth! Of ALL the name brands and store brands of floss I've tried, this one is THE ONLY ONE that gets the job done without breaking off and/or shredding while I'm trying to use it. My nearby Wal-Mart stores are no longer stocking this product which makes me very upset! It's the reason I came here to search for it online. I hope the current "out of stock online" status is not foreshadowing a discontinuation of this product which I highly recommend.
Advertising says 'super slippery material is designed to slip easily between tight teeth without shredding', but in fact it does shred with almost every flossing, leaving very thin cobweb-like strands of itself stuck in between teeth, especially around crowns. These shreds are so thin they are hard to see, and harder to get hold of and remove. You can feel them with your tongue or cheek lining, but often can't see them in a mirror or grab them with your fingers. If you are lucky a toothbrush might pull them out, otherwise they stay there. This stuff seriously needs to be redesigned.
I bought this thinking it would be about as good as the major brands. Silly me. It shreds every single time I use it (every day). The way it shreds is insidious. A tiny diameter strand will break away, a fraction of the diameter of a hair, and hang there. First time it happened, I couldn't throw away the piece of floss I'd used. Couldn't figure out why. Finally looked very closely at it and saw the tiny strand wrapped around my finger. Sometimes it breaks off in your mouth and you can tell there's something in there, but not what it is. Now I know. I'll NEVER buy this again. Sometimes saving money is wasting money, and that's the case here.
