The flavor is not overpowering, but still able to taste it. The floss is durable for tight areas.

Equate floss, mint waxed, is unequivocally awful. Like most other reviews say, it sticks and shreds while being difficult to grip. Might as well use a piece of binding twine. I have Invisaline braces. I floss about three times a day. I know how to correctly wind the floss around my fingers for upper, lower, forward and backward motion. Trying to save a little money, I bought this product last week. I've tried to go back to it and make peace with it. Nope nope nope. The floss is going into the trash and the case into the recycling bin.
I'm pretty sure I've used this brand before and was happy with it. However, I recently bought two packs, and they were both terrible. The floss shreds and sticks between my teeth, so I have to use another piece to get it out. The second piece often shreds and sticks, so I have to use a different brand to get them both out. It takes several yards of floss just to do my teeth once. My teeth are close together, but I don't have this problem with other brands. My husband's teeth are further apart, and he hates the Equate floss for the same reasons I do.
Normally I wouldn't waste my time writing a review for a $2 spool of dental floss. However, this stuff shredded and wedged between my teeth when I tried to floss with it. I just spent almost an hour trying to get all the shreds from between my teeth. I have made my gums, lips and mouth very sore, wasted half a spool of good dental floss and three floss threaders while also using a dental pick, a needle and tweezers trying to get this stuff out of my teeth. Normally I find Equate brands to be good for the price, but definitely not this. I have purchased Reach floss many times and really like it, but because Reach brand is more expensive, I decided to try this. This was a total waste of money as I am throwing it in the trash right now!
