I'm pretty loyal to Crest. As in, I use them once or twice a year to maintain white teeth. I was due to whiten again when I received the Equate brand. I was pleasantly surprised with how well these worked. Same quality as the other brand, but a fraction of the price?! I'll be honest, these taste terrible, as all whitening products do, but they are very easy to use and stick in your mouth. Just 30 mins a day is so easy also - I pop them in and shower and do my hair and makeup, and by then I can pull out the strip and I'm done. Nice!
These were very easy to use and showed a marked improvement by just using them for 10 days. My daughter was the one who use them and after reading the instructions had no problems applying the strips every day. Pictures are kind of hard to convey the differences and since we are professional photographers but we both agree her teeth are much whiter after 10 days of use.
I was nervous to try these as someone having sensitive teeth after avoiding teeth whitening from a dentist. While my hesitation to try these was high I was very pleased by the ease of use and results. My teeth are definitely brighter than before & you can't beat the price. I look forward to making this an annual part of my dental care plan & even convinced my fiancé to try them!
Really wasn't expecting to see a noticeable difference after using these strips, but they did seem to lighten my teeth by a shade or two in just a week. (The kit comes with strips for 10 days but I've only used it for 8 days so far.) Don't know if others can see much of a difference in my before and after photos, but I do see a bit of a difference in person. Have had similar results with other brands of whitening strips, so these are definitely comparable. Only had trouble with a strip staying on my bottom teeth one time, otherwise these have been easy to use. Did start experiencing gum sensitivity on day seven, but nothing unbearable, took a break for a couple days. Now will finish with the remaining strips and enjoy a whiter smile for a while!
I'm a first-time user of these white strips. I'm also a big coffee drinker. They work instantly on the first try. Very easy to use. One strip comes with a bottom and a top whitening strip. The box comes with 10 strips. Has a very sticky feeling at first but then you get used to it. Would definitely try these again. Definitely slip free.
The whitening strips are easy to apply, stay put, and have a tolerable taste. The instructions recommend to use for 30 minutes a day for 10 consecutive days, so you have to remind yourself to do it, and you need to set aside a half hour when you aren't going to eat, drink, or speak. The first day I tried it, I had a phone call and I couldn't speak clearly with the strips on, so keep that in mind. The instructions are to apply the shorter lower strip first, and it's easier to do it this way. However, the top strip was easier for me apply for some reason. The strips taste a little like paste and feel thicker as the minutes go buy. Each daily set is packaged individually. I've been using the strips for about a week, and honestly I have skipped a couple of days, but my teeth are definitely more pearly looking. The product may be used every 3 months or as needed. The strips contain hydrogen peroxide and the instruction sheet says it is enamel-safe. It says the product will only whiten natural teeth. It also says to avoid direct contact with your gums, but I don't see how that is possible. I did not have any negative reactions to the product. I would use these whitening strips again as needed.
I've had a chance to use the Equate Ultra Whitening for at least five days, to see improvements ithe strips must be used at least 4-5 days in concessions . I gave the product four stars because on the fifth day I left it on over the 30 mins allotted home , and I had a little sensitivity to my gums. Skipped one day and the following day I was back using it, with no problems.. Easy to apply, no after taste, ease of applying and removing off teeth, with no residue left on teeth.. I was able to remove stubborn coffee and food stains. The strips really do work!
These equate whitening strips are so easy to use. I've never used this type of whitener as I had my dentist make me a custom mold from my teeth and used a whitening gel previously. So, it's not fair to compare these strips to that process, as it's not really the same results. For one thing, this takes a longer time to see a difference. And the dentist route is much more expensive. What I will say, is that these whitening strips are easy to use and DOES give you results after about three days. My teeth started to show a noticeable difference because I could see a line of what color my teeth were before I started. The product only covers the front part of your mouth, which is the only part that matters anyway. Still, it gives you time to adjust where you place the strips if you are missing some spots that are important to you. The whole treatment is 10 days in a row, for 30 minutes each day. I fit that into my schedule during my workout, but for some people, this could be tedious to remember to add this extra habit to their day. It does instruct you to leave it in for 30 minutes, but either way, that's about the time they start to fall off anyway.
I was excited to try out these whitening strips because i've heard a lot about them. I am a big coffee drinker and my teeth could use a whitening. When I got them, I eagerly opened the package to put one on. Inside there are 10 individually wrapped sets of teeth whitening strips. Each set had one long top-teeth strip and one short bottom-teeth strip. You put the sticky part on your teeth fold over the access so your teeth are completely covered in the front. You are suppose to keep them there for 30 minutes. They did not slip and did not hurt, but they were super uncomfortable to me. I could not keep them on for the full 30 minutes, but I did noticed a slight difference in my teeth after using. It took a bit of the coffee stains off and I was happy about that. I used them a few times after that but the results were not worth the uncomfortable feeling. I really wish I was less sensitive about it, others may not be. I would not use them again.
I wanted to try whitener strips for a long time but was wary. If you see the picture of my yellow teeth, you'll know why. These said they couldn't hurt your teeth, so I thought I'd give them a try. I do have sensitive teeth, so I wasn't sure but I wanted to try. However, I could only use the strips once. I followed all the directions to the letter, but 24 hours later, my teeth are still aching and extremely sensitive. Way more than they normally are since I brush with a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. I'm just afraid to put the strips on a second time. These may be great for people who do not have sensitive teeth, but if you do, I think you had better stick to the dentist for any whitening you want done. I can't recommend these for anyone who has sensitive teeth. I may be over-reacting, but I'm a chicken and would just as soon not have my teeth aching more than they already are.
