I have not used teeth whitening strips in a very long time. Back then I found them large and hard to use. These strips not only were easy to use, they worked great. They are small, thin and flexible and went on and off very easily. They caused no discomfort, although the taste wasn't that great. It was all worth it because my teeth are noticeably whiter. I recommend these strips for whiter, brighter teeth!
I've used these white strips several times and have had pretty good luck with them each time. I have always had good luck with equate brand products. These do not disappoint. They adhere well to my teeth and provide just as much whitening power as the name brand product. I usually use these about once or twice a year to keep my teeth white. Don't hesitate to go ahead and pick up these, for the price, you can't beat the quality of this product. Just put them on when you are at home, leave them on for 30 minutes, and you are done. Doesn't get much easier than that!
I love nothing more than finding a fantastic deal on a great product, so I'm quite "enamored" by these well performing Equate Beauty Premium Teeth Whitening Strips. I'm a serious Coffee Drinker, over 50, and a light smoker, so I like to use whitening strips twice a year. I usually wait until Crest has a sale and/or rebate, but I've had such success with other Equate products that when I saw these it was easy to consider them, especially at the savings offered by the choice. As promised on the package these are indeed comparable to the Crest 3D White Glamorous strips, everything was essentially the same. They were large enough to cover entire teeth and wrap around the backs completely, stayed on securely, and whitened my teeth about 60% the first day. None failed, or stuck to itself, and I did not experience any tooth sensitivity during or after use. I like to do 2 treatments a day for 7 days and will put a set on in the morning before I drive to work, and another set at night before I do a little reading. Absolutely no complaints regarding quality or effectiveness.
I received the Equate Beauty Premium Teeth Whitening Strips, 14 Treatments (Compare to Crest 3D White Glamorous White) for free. It took me a while to finally try these since I had been sick. So here is my review - I am quite happy with the results of these Equate Beauty Premium Teeth Whitening Strips, after only one use I could tell there was a difference in the whiteness of my teeth. I am a smoker, coffee and tea drinker so my teeth get really bad stains, so I have tried a lot of home use teeth whitening kits, most have whitened my teeth but these are by far the easiest and most convenient of everything that I have tried. First, they are very easy to use, just tear open the little individual package of the two strips (1 upper & 1 lower) and apply them to your teeth per instructions. Second, set a timer for 30 minutes and do whatever you want while waiting. Third, remove the strips from your teeth. The instructions say to use them before brushing your teeth, so I brushed mine after, rinse your mouth good with cool water, walla - whiter teeth! I definitely recommend.
I have been able to see positive results even though I haven't been able to use them every day. These strips have two sizes per packet, one for your upper teeth and one for the lower ones. Open the packet, take out the clear sleeve and peel off each strip. They stick onto the teeth and after staying on for about 30 minutes, peel them off, brush or rinse the teeth and repeat the next day. Here's what I found about applying the strips. They stick better, tighter and longer if your teeth are clean and dried off as well as possible. Another tip is to ensure a tight (as possible) seal to your teeth is to suck them tight to your teeth. That gets the whitener to more of the surface of the tooth. Keep that up regularly during the 30 minutes to keep the strips on well. When 30 minutes are up, I find it the easiest way to get the strips with a minimum of mess and effort is to use a baby wipe or a wash cloth and pull them off with a pinch of finger knuckle and thumb. Very easy to use.
Even though I have had this product for only a day, I think I can provide some valuable feedback, as the product claims to whiten teeth 60% on the first usage. The instructions were simple ad the individual packaging for daily usage eliminated any guesswork. The strips are adhered to a plastic sheet and are easy to identify for top and bottom by the picture on the box. The strips were easy to remove and apply to my teeth. Initially there was a tingling sensation that went away. The strips began to disengage after 30 mins, the suggested application, If you apply them as soon as you get up, be sure to brush your teeth first for best contact. By the time you take a shower, do your hair and dress, it will be time to remove the strips. The strips did leave a residue, so I had to brush my teeth again, and my gums were a little tingly afterwards. I think there was a considerable difference from start to finish. Take a look at the pix and see for yourself.
I wanted to wait to review the Equate Beauty Premium Whitening Strips until I could give it a really thorough try. The packaging says to “compare to Crest 3D White no slip whitestrips Glamorous white”. These strips claim to “Removes years of tough coffee, wine & smoking stains”. I was only able to use them every other day due to tooth sensitivity. Doing it every other day limited the sensitivity that I felt from the tooth whitening substance. All in all, the strips did, indeed, lighten my tooth color (from aging and stains from tea, etc.). Some people noticed the difference right away and others not so much. I could see the difference in the color of my teeth after the first one or two uses. The top strip is rectangular in shape and fully covers your top front teeth to the sides and folds over to cover the backs of your top teeth. The bottom strip however, is short and rounded with a small tab to fold over the back of your teeth. I had no trouble with applying the top strip and it would stay in place. The bottom strip would most times stay in place, but it wasn't as easy to apply. There were the times that it would slip and come completely off. At first I thought it was because I was wearing them while I was showering, but it only happened a couple of times when I was in the shower that the bottom one would come off. I think the bottom strip should be a bit longer and I would prefer a bigger tab for the back. This smaller one doesn't cover as many teeth as the top one does and doesn't seem to stick quite as well to the bottom as the top one does to the top teeth. Would I recommend the Equate Premium Whitening Strips? Yes, I would. I would like to see an improvement on the bottom strip, but I would definitely recommend them.
I received the Equate Beauty Premium Teeth Whitening Strips, 14 Treatments courtesy of the Walmart Spark Review Program in exchange of my honest opinion. The retail price is $24.44 compared to The Crest Whitestrips for $39.88. The front of the box says 60% whiter teeth in just one day and a visibly whiter smile in 14 days with this at-home teeth whitening treatment. I don't see that my teeth got any whiter after just one use, but I do see the difference after 14 days. My gums were very sensitive but that went away after a few days after finishing the treatment. The kit includes 28 strips- 14 for upper and 14 for lower teeth. The directions state to use every day for 14 days and to leave on for 30 minutes. The box says slip-free and I would agree. They stay on very well but are hard to take off as some of the residue stayed on my teeth where I had to use my toothbrush to take it off. The box says that they are safe on the tooth enamel but doesn't whiten caps, crowns, veneers, fillings for dentures, just your natural teeth. I will definitely be purchasing this in the future to keep the stains off my teeth.
The whiting strips worked really well on the first attempt. I believe I received about 35% of whiting from just the first application. Sadly, if your bottom teeth are wet, the strip will not remain in place. After about 4 or 5 strip the results didn't look any different. I did feel mild irritation to my gums around the 5th application. I'll recommend this for all coffee drinkers. One other issue is the strips does not get in between teeth.
I drink wine and tea daily, so my teeth tend to stain. Text on the box claims to produce "60% whiter teeth in just one day". You can see from the photos - Before - After - that there is little difference after one treatment (VERY slight improvement only). Note that you are supposed to use only one treatment per day, so the "60% whiter" should have been visible after one treatment. It definitely was not. Another problem is that the strips do not conform well to uneven teeth (such as especially my top row on the left). Perhaps applying the strips using the round end of a toothpick would improve the coverage of the strip. Another problem: the top strip was not "tall" enough for my (apparently unusually long) top teeth. Either some of the teeth were not covered near the gum line, or some were not covered at the "point". Another problem: the taste. You have to keep this in your mouth for half an hour. Not horrible, but not pleasant either. Another problem: the strips tend to loosen up (detach along the tooth line) during that half hour. Though talking is not a problem at first, by the end of the half hour talking sounds like your mouth is full of food. Another problem: you are not supposed to use the product immediately after brushing (which is the obvious and most convenient time to do so). This is my first experience with teeth whitening "strips". I was generally disappointed.
