I wanted to be able to use the bulk coffee that I had and not have to use the K cups carafe pods. Not only am I able to use it for bulk coffee for the carafe, but I can use it for single cups too, and the extra settings that do not appear for the individual pods and favorites are now available. The You Tube videos showing using a magnet or a toothpick do not work. And I wasn't about to take the pod holder apart and disconnect something or clip a wire like other videos suggest. This was an inexpensive investment and I will get my money back in no time by not having to buy the boxes of individual pods. If you have a Keurig 2.0, I highly suggest purchasing this item.
works beautifully!!! I tried others and there were always problems with them opening during brewing or warping from heat. Not this one it is a keeper!
Allows me to brew a three cup carafe, brewed strong and robust with flavor.
It worked with my 2.0 keurig. The only thing is that you can't fill it too full or the machine will not recognize it.
Doesn't hold near enough coffee to make the 3-4 cups that the carafe holds! The 1 cup pod holds just under 2 scoops of coffee. This pod holds just over 3 scoops. I'd return it but I didn't keep the packaging or receipt. Oh well.
My wife bought a new Keurig 2.0 Model K200, plus the carafe and pod. I used the pod for one week without problems. The second week I had to keep repositioning the pod in the holder to keep from getting an "Oops, you are not using a genuine Keurig pod" message and no coffee. By the beginning of the third week, the pod had ceased working entirely. Keurig installed an optical sensor in the maker that interfaces with a reflective light filter on the top of the Keurig brand reusable pod (I bought two...) and the lid of the eco-pod had distorted enough that the sensor beam was being deflected away from the receiver, which caused the machine to refuse to brew. Don't waste your money; Keurig is determined to keep as much of the potential revenue stream as they can. It's a shame, because the eco-pod makes a better cup of coffee than the keurig pod. Probably because the grounds are totally immersed in water for the entire brewing cycle.
It didn't work. It's wrong design. I'm very disappointed in this product
I bought this as it was recommended for the Keurig 2.0 KCarafe but unfortunately it the machine does not recognize this item. Waste of money!
Too small! Doesn't come with a carafe which is going to be another 35+ dollars, doesn't come with the refillable carafe pod. Even with the extra purchases you only get about 4 small cups with the carafe. Had to constantly refill the water supply and couldn't get the auto brew to work. Ultimately returned about a Hamilton beech that shots cups or a 12 cup carafe.
I bought two of these and they did not work on my 2.0 K525 Plus. Waste of money can't return them....
