Purchased the Keurig kit thinking it was money down the coffee maker. What a surprise I received. I've used the internet suggestions before with not even fair results. Kerri's kid IS the answer! The components work to clean my machine quicker and deeper. Cost was excellent and actually the most economical for my home. Highly recommend you stop searching for replacements and go with the brand name. They made a great machine and the best cleaning kit you can buy!
This is the whole group of products needed to clean your Keurig. It has multiple pods to use once per month for 3 months. It also has the filters which goes at the bottom of the water tank. Finally, and this is its major problem as it only has one bottle of the descaling solution. This bottle will be consumed in one months cleaning!. Thus you must buy 2 more bottles to make this kit a 3 month one! However the great news is this Cleaning process really works and does so every time if you follow the instructions which are easily understandable.
All in one box! Everything needed to keep my Keurig running smoothly is here in this care kit. I have had my Keurig for over 5 years and it runs great because I regularly clean it.
I bought this for my elderly mother, who is loving the Keurig brewer I bought her recently as well as the convenience and good taste of her coffee pods. She didn't know how to care for her brewer, and she's not confident enough to research it on the website, so this was a perfect way to help her. I walked her though using each product and marked the rest with the day/month she should use them. My only disappointment was that the descaling liquid bottles don't have any "how-to" instructions on them. Why not? Makes no sense. My mom won't remember the multi-step process, so I will need to do it for her. That's not a problem for us, but what about people who don't have someone willing to help?
I couldn't believe how dirty my Keurig was after less than one year of using it. My coffee tastes so much better after the descaling process. I will definitely use this product again. I have attached a before and after photo of how the water looks.
I love the 3 month brewer cleaning kit because it comes with both the descaler and the reservoir filters. It is important to descale the coffee maker and change the filter. Doing both extends the life of the machine and when doing both the coffee actually tastes better.
I've owned a Keurig coffee maker since 2005. I've found that purchasing a 6 month care kit is the best way to always have the supplies in to keep your brewer running at its best.
I wish the directions were right WITH it.....I have not used the kit yet. I have had other Keurigs, and could probably do it like those, but this one is different... so I have not done it yet.....and would like to. Do you have easy directions you could send.....I have the kit and will like that. I received this as a gift in early February and it is called a : Single Serve Coffee Maker SPECIAL EDITION
This is the second time I have “descaled” my Keurig. I have followed the directions completely and after the long procedure the light does not stop blinking.
