This is a very good product But it needs a backup battery for when the power goes out
Like the portability of the product, as can move receiver as needed. Plug in feature eliminates use of batteries, a big plus. Able to move from room to room, on different levels, with good reception.
FINALLY A BABY MONITOR THAT DOESN'T SQUEAK AND SQUALL WHILE IT IS ON. yOU CAN SET IT A LOW VOLUME AND STILL HEAR IT. ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT ISN'T PORTABLE - i CAN'T TAKE IT OUTSIDE. HOWEVER, TO BE ABLE TO HEAR WITHOUT THE SCRATCHY RASPY NOISE OF MOST MONITORS. I AM CARING FOR MY ELDERLY HUSBAND AND WITHOUT IT I NEEDED TO SLEEP ON THE COUCH. IT WAS A LITTLE MORE THAN MOST, BUT IT IS WORTH IT IF I CAN GET A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP.
Really is plug and play. Simple set up and operation. Pros: No batteries Simple operation Good Clarity Cons: (Do not apply to my need) Electrical outlet needs to be convenient Lack of Portability
No Assembly / bettery required. Plug into outlet and it's ready to use. Sound is clear and loud. Didn't face any connectivity issue.
These monitors are very easy to use. You just plug them and in turn them on. I could hear every sound in the other room. It has an out of range feature but I moved it to a few locations and could still hear very easily. But it's nice to know that it has that indicator. The only thing I don't like is the electrical outlet needs to be somewhere close to you or you won't be able to hear sounds clearly. You also can't walk around the house with them.
I've only had this baby monitor for about a week, but it seems to work fairly well. My old one (which was only 1 year old) had so much static & cracking noises that I could barely hear the child. This one doesn't seem to have that problem, but I really need to use it for awhile, in order to give my true opinion.
Easy to Use and simple. No battery needed. Within certain range sound was clear. The only drawback is it is not portable.

If you want to wake up in the middle of the night from false alarms, this is the monitor for you. This monitor has a consistent track record of occasionally losing the connection to the baby unit and will beep annoyingly thoughout the night. Spend the money and get a better unit.
