this is a great baby monitor because both units have batteries and can be placed anywhere in your house or on the go. the units feature noise cancellation that detects noises like baby sleep sounds and ocean sounds that are repetitive, the units will stop transmitting after a few seconds of hearing repetitive sounds and then only make sounds when a baby is heard.
I use this at night to monitor my mother and make sure she is ok. She is 82, has Alzheimer's and sleep apnea. I am a sound sleeper myself but the volume is loud enough to alert me when she gets out of bed
Good product, nice range. Has a noise cancelling feature where it goes quiet and you think its not working (there is a tv playing in backround, it silences the sound). I use it for an elderly patient that i sit with occasionally. The 2 way comminication works excellent.
Better than expected, works well for distance. We take it outside while doing yard work or in the garage. Really clear reception.
Directions were confusing and not step by step. After rereading the instructions several times, I finally got the monitors working correctly.
They won't stay charged and won't work majority of the time
I was excited about this monitor because of its long range. Unfortunately it is completely unusable because the parent unit and baby unit are not linked. There is no way to link them, and I can't return it because I don't have the packaging. I also can't register it with the company then file a warranty claim, again, because I don't have the packaging.
The unit will not link even though they're touching. Never have I ever in all my four children had an issue with a baby monitor. I got this to care for family member in my home and I'm disappointed with the lack of information to fix this on my own. It's a dud.
would work fine then just silence
You're going to end up returning it. They claim a 1,500-foot range. I set up the monitors 200 feet apart - each behind a single closed door - and they wouldn't stay connected for longer than 30 minutes at a time. What's worse is they would never automatically reconnect - I would have to take the parent unit into my kid's room and hold it next to the baby unit until they reconnected.
