I am amazed that cribs are so expensive, however we are very pleased with it. It only took my son and husband 45 minutes to put together, it looks beautiful and seems very sturdy. I like the fact that this crib will grow with baby (as long as we don't lose the parts over the years). Baby is still in the bassinet and hasn't actually slept in it yet but I'm sure she will love it.
My little girl LOVES her new crib! After purchasing, i did find a recent recal on the clasp that holds the matress board, i went to the manufacture website and am waiting for the replacement part, but it does seem sturdy to me. It took less than an hour to put together.
Most important this product did not look cheap. The crib was sturdy and very easy to put together. 100% satisfied with this product. It took me 2 weeks to finally find a crib I liked and was willing to purchase. I browsed only on the internet because i was on bed rest due to my pregnacy. You will not be disappointed with this crib!!!
We bought the crib, armoire and 3-drawer dresser. I must admit I was skeptical because the price was so affordable compared to the "baby" store options. My dad, one of the pickiest people I know when it comes to craftmanship, was impressed by the quality. It was easy to assemble and looks so nice!
Assembly was easy. Color was a little darker than represented online, which was perfect because it blended with the Beatrice items well. Only (2) CONs: (1) If you let a child (6-yr old) grab a blanket from an overly stuffed drawer, they can derail the drawer when a large force is exerted on the drawer. I had no problem putting it back on the rail and have personally not had any problems with the drawer. (2) If you wish to use a bumper pad with the crib, it doesn't work well with this crib since 2 of the sides don't have "rails" to tie around; and therefore, you run the risk of the baby hitting themselves against the crib rails when they begin to roll around. Otherwise, this is a very nice crib.
This crib is so beautiful! I cant wait for my lil one to arrive. Only thing was the allen-wrench provided did not fit the bolts. Other than that it was not that bad to put together :) Also, purchased Precious Planet bedding (Fisher Price) from Walmart- super cute!!
This is a very nice crib. It took about an hour and a half to build and it is a beautiful piece of furniture. I was very impressed with this item and would recommend this product to anyone else.
Installation on this was MUCH better than the changing table and dresser w/ door. The great thing is, the installation instrictions are pasted to the crib board/matress board so you can't lose them when it comes time to modify! I had read some bad reviews regarding the drawer at the bottom, but we didn't have any issues with ours. Overall, we're looking forward to making use of it!
We didn't work consistently on putting the crib together...so it took a time span of two days. It was much taller and wider than we had imagined, or planned for.....but it turned out great. Fairly easy to do. Love the pull out drawer at the bottom. An expensive looking product without the expensive price.
Overall a good purchase. We have 3 pieces of the Storkcraft Aspen collection and like all of them. The crib is nice and large and I like the drawer element. I do like that the crib is a 3-in-1; however, the only bad thing is that there are extra parts you have to store separately to be able to turn the crib into a bed. Also, the adjustable rail is hard to raise and lower but that could be because it is new and we have not "broken" it in yet.
