ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THIS CRIB IS WORTH SO MUCH MORE THAN IT COSTS. THE DRAWER IN THE BOTTOM IS ATTACHED TO THE CRIB....I REPEAT ATTACHED. MOST CRIBS WITH DRAWERS THEY JUST SIT ON THE FLOOR. THIS ONE GLIDES. I CAN'T WAIT TO BRING MY BABY HOME AND SEE HER IN THIS CRIB.
We purchased the crib and had it shipped to the store which was amazing in itself and saved us greatly on shipping costs. We opened the box and the cognac color is GORGEOUS! I took a chance because I had never seen the color in person, but it is absolutely beautiful! There was a small scratch on one side of the back piece, but we put that against the wall, so it wasn't an issue for us. The crib was very easy to assemble and the drop rail and drawer are a great feature. The crib seems very sturdy and we are very happy with it! I'm sure once our little guy gets here he will love it too! Lastly, the price just can't be beat. I saw the same crib at other stores for at least 40-60 dollars more!
I am due this August. Crib was shipped site-to-store in very decent timeframe(5 days). Beautiful and good quality wood!!! Took my husband and I about 30 min to put together! Would highly recommend for new moms.
I AM A FIRST TIME MOM WITH A ONE YEAR OLD SON, WHO UP UNTIL NOW HAS BEEN SLEEPING IN HIS PACK & PLAY. ~ I ORDERED THIS CRIB AND HAD IT SHIPPED SITE TO STORE... IT ARRIVED IN DECENT TIME. ~ WHEN I OPENED UP THE BOX THE FIRST THING I NOTICE WAS THE COLOR OF THE CRIB IS BEAUTIFUL!!! IT DIDN'T HAVE AN SCRATCHES OR ANYTHING. EACH PIECE IS LIGHTWEIGHT TOO. I DIDN'T HAVE MANY ISSUES PUTTING IT TOGETHER EITHER. ~ IT TOOK ME ABOUT 1 HOUR TO ASSEMBLE THE CRIB AND ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO ASSEMBLE THE DRAWER... BUT HERE IS THE SUGGESTION: ***PUT THE DRAW TOGETHER FIRST, THIS WAY IT WILL MAKE SENSE TO COMPLETE STEP 6 WHILE/WITH THE "PRE-ASSEMLY OF HEADBOARD AND FOOTBOARD"*** (I DIDN'T KNOW TO DO THIS SO IT WAS DIFFICULT PUTTING THE SLIDERS ON THE BOARDS AFTER THE CRIB WAS ALREADY PUT TOGETHER) ~ ALSO IT SAYS TO SECURE THE MATTRESS SUPPORT YOU MAY NEED TWO PEOPLE, I DID IT BY MYSELF, SUGGESTION: **DON'T TIGHTEN THE SCREWS IN PLACE UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE PLACE ALL FOR SIDES OF THE MATTRESS SUPPORT TO THE HEAD & FOOT BOARDS. THIS WAY YOU CAN MANEUVER AROUND THE CRIB UNTIL ALL THE ENDS ARE PROPERLY IN PLACE AND IF YOU DON'T LEAVE ENOUGH SPACE OR PULL YOU CAN ADJUST W/O HAVING TO UNSCREW EVERY TIME. ~ LAST SUGGESTIONS DO IT AT A TIME WHERE YOU WONT HAVE DISTRACTIONS OR CHILDREN THERE ARE A LOT OF SMALL SCREWS AND WASHERS ETC, AND IF YOUR KIDS ARE ANYTHING LIKE MY SON FAST AND PUTS EVERYTHING IN THEIR MOUTH, YOU MAY HAVE MORE PROBLEMS THAN YOU WOULD LIKE. AND THROW ON SOME MUSIC IT MAKES THE TIME GO BY FASTER! ~ OTHER THAN THAT THE CRIB IS GREAT LOOKING I CANT WAIT FOR MY SON TO USE IT. I PLAN ON PURCHASING THE MATCHING DRESSERS LATER!
I'm really pleased with the way the stain matches the other products. The quality is great, very sturdy. I compared alot of beds and this one by far beats the rest in price. The only downfall is the instructions are on the bottom of the bed, which I guess is good in a way you will not lose them.
This item was purchased for us as a gift. The cognac color is beautiful almost a cherry color. We have received many compliments on the appearance. We also purchased a cognac changing table, but the color was not even close. Our only complaints were the assembly instructions, the drawer underneath can only be opened when the rail is all the way up and also the mechanism to slide the rail up and down is a little flimsy. So we'll have to be careful with that part. But the crib overall seems very sturdy.
We are expecting our baby in July. Put the crib together last night. It took hubby 2hrs to put together. He was pleased with the final product, but hated the directions. He felt directions were too vague in some sections. With the exception of the directions, we would highly recommend this to others. It is a good product with solid wood and very sturdy.
The crib looks great since we've put it up and took a wood marker to it. There were a few scratches and a "chunk" of finished wood missing(my husband later found in the bottom of the box & stuck back on w/ glue). Pretty easy to put together, except for the drawer, it was a small pain. Overall mostly satisfied.
I love this crib. It is my 4th child so I wasn't about to spend a lot of money on a new crib, but this one was inexpensive but doesn't look it. It was very easy to assemble (did it by myself at 38 weeks pregnant) and has the drop-down bar (something I NEED at 5 feet tall) which most trendy models are no longer doing. It had a few minor scratches on the wood. This is why I didn't give it an excellent over all, but not very noticable. Get the changing table too. It was very nice as well. Enjoy!!
We have just purchased this crib for our son due in May. My fiance put it together today. The color is amazing and the crib itself is beautiful. Its very nicely made.. However our crib came a bit damaged. Some areas of the wood are chipped. I am not happy at all about that.. But besides that, it looks beautiful and we love it.
