I loved the craftsmanship and the design, but when it came to the shelves I was very disappointed. I would have paided a little more money for wood shelves instead of cardboard with a metal rod in the middle. I'm not sure this is going to hold a lot of weight. We ourselves are going to put wood in place of the cardboard.
The changing table is a nice accessory to the matching crib. It didn't look very sturdy in the picture but is actually quite nice in person. We bought some cute baskets for the shelves and it makes the table look adorable! We won't be using it for two more months but so far we are happy we got it.
My husband is very, very happy with this changing table. We put together a Storkcraft Beatrice dresser first, and he found this changing table to be constructed much more solidly than the dresser and is very happy with it. It is a beautiful color and matches perfectly with my other items. My only complaint is the flimsy pad for the changing table, but it could just be my "new mom-ness" that has me worried about my baby's comfort. All in all, a great product!
We bought this changing table and matching crib online. They arrived in a timely manner, in great shape, with all pieces accounted for. No blemishes in the product, and it was easy to build. My hubby did it himself in under an hour. It looks great, and is sturdier than many we looked at in stores. Beautiful! It comes with a thin changing table pad with safety strap, which we couldn't tell if it came with when we ordered it. We're very satisfied with this changing table for the price paid!
This is the second Storkcraft product we have purchased and we could not be happier with the item. Critically, it lacks marking on the parts to correlate with the drawings. However, it has fewer parts so it was less of a problem than with the crib. I would recommend that you locate and store the portions of the box which have the barcode, manufature data, and date of productions as well as the assembly instructions. The changing pad on this item came damaged and that information was required before Storkcraft would send a new one. However, the customer service was prompt, polite, and the part and the shipping were free of charge.
Very sturdy and roomy. Looks expensive. I just put a towel folded over the little mattress that came with it. The drawer is nice.
This changing table looks great and is very sturdy. My 2-year-old usually climbs up the shelves and hangs on to the front of the table while I'm changing his little sister's diaper. There is no way this thing is going to tip over. Before I purchased from Walmart.com I shopped all around on-line for this table. The Wal-mart price was about $30 cheaper than anywhere else. The only difference was that the Wal-mart product had a 1" thick mattress and the others had a 2" mattress. When I received the product this didn't bother me at all. It's plenty soft! And I loved the FREE site to store shipping. That was another savings. I am very pleased with my whole experience.
Simple looking peice with a nice storage drawer. The finish is great but assembly is terrible. The directions are a little vague and at points it was near impossible to put together as directed. Once together it is secure, but the shelves are rather cheap looking as a white composit board rather than a nice wood finish. Nothing a couple of storage baskets or nice contact paper can't hide. Also comes with a flat thin changing table pad, but I am going to buy a higher quality contoured variety.
My fiance and I bought this changing table for our son. We have just put it together today. The color is beautiful. The table itself is amazing. I love it! I've had other changing tables in the past, as this is my 4th baby.. And this one seems perfect.. However, it came damaged. Some areas of the wood are chipped. I am NOT happy at all about that.. However, I would recommend this to other expecting parents. It really is a beautiful changing table.
This is a nice changing table for the price. It matches perfectly with the maple crib and dresser I got from JC Penney. The drawer is a little flimsy but it holds small items like comb, brush, etc. U will need to purchase another changing pad because the one that comes with it is very thin.
