The crib came together with not much trouble despite the minimal instructions. The only problem was a loose top rail that would not seat without rattling when shaken despite a couple of tries to reseat the rail. The back rail installed sturdily with the same system of tightened screw heads. Otherwise a good deal, beautiful design, sturdy thick pieces of wood nicely stained dark cherry.
I went through lists and lists of cribs from all different stores and kept coming back to this one! I love the dark wood and the way the crib just kind of flows! When we brought it home and looked at it there were absolutely no scratches or "dings" what so ever! It was a bit hard putting it together! The directions sometimes didnt make sense but we got it done! Its a farely big crib but it is absolutely amazing! Its simply GORGEOUS! I cant stop looking at it! Its very steardy and it actually changes into a toddler bed also! It comes with the little side piece! I love it and would recommend this crib to everyone!!!
The bed is a lot darker than the picture shows, which was great for me because I got the Storkcraft 5 drawer dresser and the changing table. The bed matched the changing table perfect! The changing table is true to color. The dresser is a little off. All pieces were nice. Overall it looks good together. I would buy it again.
Beautiful sturdy crib. I absolutely love it and can't wait to bring baby home in April to use it. It's very beautiful in person and seemed pretty easy to put together. My husband said that the instructions skip a few steps, but all in all, was pretty easy to assemble. I would recommend this crib to a friend.
First of all, this crib looks and feels expensive and solid. It is stunning in person. To me it seems masculine. It is fairly easy to put together, all the pieces have little stickers on them so they are easy to sort. Since this is a big crib, you probably want to assemble it in the room in which it will finally be, it may not fit through some hallways and doors after it has been put together. Keep in mind that this does not have drop sides, if you are a short or heavy person, you may have difficulty leaning and bending over the squared off railings. I am a 5'7" avg. build and I do alright. You might want to test other fixed rail cribs to see if you are tall enough before you buy this one. There also is no room for under crib storage. Other than this, this is a great crib that I would recommend.
Great for price and quality. White color is easy to clean and dust does no stick to paint. Square form and straight lines and style is timeless. I am a litter disapointed with the no moving side rails. I am very short 5'3'' and now that my baby girl is bigger the matress is in the lowest point posible. I can not reach it and make it difficult to keep her sleeping. It is herting my belly all the time! To resolve the problem I will convert it and adapt a matress side protectors so she can use the bed.
Very nice once you can get it all put together. We did "site to store" shipping. When we picked up the crib, there were large boot prints all over the box, and I was concerned that the crib would be damaged. When we opened it, there was a chunk missing out of the top of the front rail, but once the top railing was attached, you couldn't see it. Otherwise, I'm happy with the purchase. It does match ok with the other Storkcraft cherry furniture. Assembly took my husband and I about 2 hours.
This crib is so handsome in our baby's room. We love it! When we first got it some of the wood parts were scratched (of course USPS said it was not their fault, who knows!) When we called Storkcraft to get new parts they were so friendly and accomodating. We ended up getting the wrong parts, though, because the originals were labeled wrong, so we told them the wrong part. We ended up putting it together like it was and no one can tell the messed up parts. The bed itself was very frustrating to put together, but we have had several pieces of furniture by several different companies that were difficult to assemble. I think that is normal. Overall we love this gorgeous bed!
First the parts that hold the matress up bent while attaching, you must have two people putting it together. Then the Locking Cam Nuts were very cheap and several broke so we couldn't attach the tops of the sides... we had to call and order more, which we're still waiting for 3 weeks later... the parts are in the corner of our room. This crib looks nice and is fairly sturdy, but the money we paid wasn't worth the hassle of the cheap parts that should have been steel but apparently were made of something like aluminum.
took awhile to put together. The only thing wrong was it was damaged on the backside that faces the wall. Thats the only reason we didnt send it back, because you cant see it. Otherwise its great and looks great.
