My daughter adores this. The 1st time I winded it up, she was smiling, laughing, and talking to it. She stares at it when she's in the crib, and sometimes it gets her to stop crying.
Great product. It is really cute! The only reason I gave it 4 stars for meets expectations is because the music only plays for about three minutes. I guess this is probably how long most mobiles play their music for, but I guess I expected it to play a little longer....otherwise, I love it...the bears are really cute.
I was hestitant about buying this mobile, I wasn't sure I needed one. I decided to do my daughter's nursery in Care Bears. I also bought the bedding set, the receiving blankets, the lamp and the poodle blanket and cap. I love everything in this set. Perfect for anyone that has a little girl.
My granddaughter loves the mobile. She enjoys watching it spin around and around. My biggest complaint with it is that it doesn't stay in motion for more than three minutes and once it has stopped, she is crying for my daughtet to make it spin again. The characters are cute and the tune, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is nice but it needs to work longer.
I have a crib with curved sides because it changes into a toddler bed and full size bed. I found that this mobile does not attach very well to the side because of that. I think with a hook-up that could be used for the newer style cribs would have made this product excellent. But I love the way it works and looks. My daughter is mesmerized by the spinning care bears.
This was easy to put together. Easy to keep clean. The wind up mechanism is not really what I expected. Once you wind it up the music plays really fast then as it unwinds the music slows down. Not what I expected but my baby doesn't seem to mind. It is also a little on the loud side. I sometimes just turn on the music from her swing since the volume can be controlled. It does match the care bear crib set very well.
It is really cute and the baby loves it, only thing with it is that the music does not play long enough to get her to sleep. It will stop and she will cry again. You have to go back in and wind it up again which by the time you do all that she isn't very asleep anymore.
I ordered this one "only" because my daughter's room is the "care bear theme". In my opinion, it is very loud -has no volume adjustments & i hate winding it up--OH and it doesn't play very long, would have preferred something that was more convenient for me....but other than that..the lil bears are cute and it does what the description says...
We bought this mobile for our baby's nursery and the second time I wound it up it stopped working...it didn't fit well in the crib and we had to put it through the inside so that it could look more normal. It also scratched the crib when tightening the bolt. I'm returning it for another one that hopefully will work better.
I was given this as a gift, so I hate to complain, but. . . . It turns and plays for 4 minutes on each winding. The only way that's long enough is when she's already asleep when I put her in the bed. And then, what's the use. When I go to wind it back up, she's already fussing and my presence just wakes her up more. It's not really worth having.
