These little things are great. Amazingly good sound from the iPod, convienent size, 110V/220V adapter (THANK YOU THANK YOU!), only down side I can see is I think it'd be easier if it took a 9v battery vice the AA size - but - I have rechargeable batteries in that size that I travel with too - but it takes a LOT of batteries.... Nice product, nice price and Wal-Mart ships quick. Thanks
I bought this product for my spouse who is serving in Iraq. He needed a reliable set of speakers that would have good sound quality, as well as be able to use batteries. He works often outside on a helicopter and still wanted to be able to listen to his music. He has told me that they are excellent and he has passed out their name and walmart.com website several time to fellow soldiers that were impressed.
I would recommend this product to anyone that has a MP3 player and also a Palm TX. It produces the best sound then any other of my small speakers. I also use it for my computer audio output. Thanks Walmart for the Ship to Store, saving me shipping costs.
These speakers sound great and are versatile as well. They fit anywhere and have a great carrying case. They use both batteries and plug into the wall. I use them standing in my house, and they also clip on my computer and jogging stroller. The sound is excellent. I looked for many other speakers for my mp3 player and they were much more expensive for less speaker. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.
I've tried several types of portable speakers. These are the only ones with decent sound quality. I like the ability to clip them on the side of the LCD. Has exceptional sound for its size. Best price at Wal-Mart.
I Bought this Product to mount on a Baby stroller so when we take our New Grandson on Walks we can Have Music on our Trip, The sound Quality is Great, As little as they are a person would not thank so, After I purchased them and Heard them I wanted another set, so I went online to order them and They were out of stock , Not to sure how long the Batterys last in the amp but will find out soon enough,
I bought this speaker set to plug into my Mp3 for an upcoming trip. I have only used it a few times but was initially impressed with its quality and nice case. It also comes with an AC/DC jack but, unfortunately, it doesn't fit in the case. Otherwise it uses 6 AAA batteries. Most of the time I will have it plugges in and wished the plug fit in the case. I like the way the speakers seperate from the base unit and can be spread apart for better sound. I was pleased and figured the Philips brand would be good quality. It is!
The surround sound feature does not sound good on most songs so I keep it turned off, but it's fairly loud for such a small and inexpensive set of portable speakers. It doesn't clip onto the sides of my laptop, but you can turn them on their sides and the rubber gripper feet keep them from sliding and they stand up well on their own this way. I wish they made speakers that ran off the laptop's battery because plugging them in and having yet another cord attached is somewhat annoying, but these really are a good little set of speakers for the price.
I bought this for my office and for travel. It is a little cumbersome to set up with all the wire connections, but once it's done, I like it. The sound is really good considering the size and price. While I have not traveled with it yet, I plan to take it on a mission trip and feel it will not take up much space in a very limited packing excursion, but worth it for the music. It also was one of few listed that would work with my non-ipod MP3 player.
For the money you can't go wrong. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she likes it. It connects to her MP3 player, her cd player and her computer and is small enough to take with her wherever she goes. It's so easy to use also, just plug it in and you're ready. They are smaller speakers so the sound is a bit tinny but it definately serves it's purpose.
