I purchased this product for my 5 year old. My husband put this armoire together very quickly. He followed the directions and it came out perfect. It explains in the directions that you have to level off the doors... That was the trickiest part. Other than that... perfect!
We LOVE this armoire!!! it took my husband and i about 45 minutes to put together. It is very strudy and excellent quality. Not too bulky, yet tons of storage! Excellent price for excellent quality!
We bought the armoire and tower combo/hutch for our first soon to arrive grandbaby as a gift. The directions were good (took a while to put together but that's to be expected) but the customer service through Storkcraft left something to be desired. Which is not Wal-Marts fault. Two pieces of the hutch were damaged. When we called for replacement parts it was a nightmare! I tried first to get them online like someone said in a review but I highly suggest calling! After 5 emails back and forth (final one copying all the info that they were asking again and again) I did call and get it all straightened out. I do think if I would've called right away it would've been easier as I didn't have a long wait on hold or anything! The funny thing about it is when I got the confirmation my parts were on the way I was still getting emails from them asking for more info on the parts! They did however send one correct part and one wrong one! Instead of messing with it again we went ahead and used the damaged part...will have to put something infront of the "hole" in the back! Over all it is a great set and will be perfect for the nursery. The quality for the price seem to be good. I would highly suggest buying this set!
Difficult to assemble but overall decent item for the money paid.
Although the product itself meet our expectations, the assembly did not. The fasteners were far too weak to hold the heavy doors and we were forced to purchase new hinges from Home Depot. Additionally, the doors are not aligned perfectly, even with the new hinges. In the end, you get what you pay for.
This piece of furniture was not fun to put together....hinges on doors were very cheap, could not be installed straight so the doors were crooked...had to rig the hinges so they worked HALFWAY properly. Doors are still not straight. Spaces between them are different. Husband not happy with product....would like to send back....maybe still will....hate the hassle though.
First off I want to just say that overall, the armoire looks nice. Its not very sturdy, but I was expecting that for the price I paid. My husband usually enjoys putting furniture together and doesn't complain much when doing the work, but in this case, he HATED every minute of it. The instruction manual was very unclear. It seemed as if pieces were missing! We did a lot of guessing to get it put together but it took a lot longer then we could have imagined and it was very frustrating. I would have rathered paid some extra cash and purchased something NORMAL. We don't even want to consider taking it apart and returning it because of the hassle, so it'll do, but not worth the headache and frustration. I'm also going to check into writing to the manufacturing company about revising the instruction manual. Don't waste your time or energy !! Buy anything else...
