My husband and I bought this for our sons first baby (just born on 4/10/2010). The room they converted didn't have a closet. After giving them the Armoire, they decided to order the 4 drawer dresser also. Our new Grandson will get alot of use from both peices. We also purchased a 4 drawer dresser Storkcraft - Beatrice in white for our 1 year old Grandaughter in Springfield, Mo. last October. Both families are very happy with their furniture.
This armoire is great. Very easy to put together. The drawers are perfect. I am able to fit all my son's t-shirts, socks, and underwear in them. The only downside is I wish the removeable shelf was the top shelf instead of the middle shelf. We put his TV in it and it sits low. It is hard for him to see it when he is laying in bed. It hits the top shelf when we put it on the middle shelf. I also wish the doors opened a little more than they do. Otherwise, it is great. It is serving its purpose.
I have the matching 4-drawer dresser and wanted to upgrade my toddler's room. It was much cheaper to buy this armoire, instead of a complete new set. It matches perfect and looks great in her small room. She now has more than enough storage space (draws and shelf spacing) to store her belongs and I can see this armoire being with her until the early teen years. I'm pleased with my purchase and I would recommend this armoire to anyone. It was a great addition to the room and a much better choice than buying another 4-draw dresser. I have no complaints of the quality, draw space or the shelving. I don't plan on using it to hold a TV like the other viewers so I'm completely happy. The directions could use some improvements (didn't have the pieces labeled) but other than that…I'm happy!
It takes a while to put this product together (several hours), but for the price - it can't be beat!
I love the final product and it seems like good quality. However, it was missing two screws when my husband was assembling it (was able to use screws from his tool box), and it didn't include a hanging bar. I knew there wouldn't be a bar to hang clothes on from other reviews, but I was hoping that there would have been a place to attach the bar if I purchased one, and there isn't. If I decide to remove the shelf to hang clothes, then I'll have to buy a tension rod -- which I hope will hold up more then a couple outfits! I wish the product had included an inside shot. Overall, I am glad we purchased it, and I think it will last us for several years. It was definitely worth the cost!
