overall this is a nice looking peice and it arivied in a good amount of time but one whole side of screws were missing luckily my husband and father in law are good at putting things together. they went to home depot and got all of the missing peices. also it split in a few places(luckily on the inside) because the wood is kind of flimsy but you get what you pay for so if your looking for a very sturdy peice i would say look somewhere else
This armoire looks great from afar, but up close you see all the flaws in the paint and the gaps around the doors and drawers. The piece also seems very flimsy. Multiple pieces were cracked and dented. The replacement pieces from Graco took 2 weeks to arrive and were cracked in the exact same places- it seems to me to be a design flaw. If I get two years out of this armoire I'll be happy.
The armoire is good, but the assembly required is very difficult and pieces don't match as the should. In addition to that, some of the pieces were damaged.
In December my husband and I decided to purchase the 'Graco Kimberly Armoire - White' from WalMart.com It was to be a Christmas gift to our daughter. When it arrived, the two main side pieces were split. Although disappointed, being optimistic I figured it to be a one-time mistake and re-ordered the same piece. Again, it arrived with BOTH sides split. I am not a picky person, I don't expect perfection in all things, but these damages were unable to be disguised! Figuring it to be a problem with WalMart, I decided to contact LaJobi directly (It is not actually made by "Graco"). I spoke with customer service and they sent me out the two side pieces - one of which was majorly split... you can imagine my frustration.. I spoke with customer service at LaJobi 3 MORE TIMES, each time receiving another BROKEN side piece! On the 6th try they forgot to ship my piece altogether and I had to give them a reminder call. I waited 2 weeks for it to arrive, and when it did, it was again BROKEN. As an apology, customer service said they would send me out the entire armoire again, today I received it (for the 7th time), with BOTH sides, yes... BROKEN! I have broken pieces filling up my garbage can... needless to say, it was not an acceptable apology - I still don't have working pieces for even one armoire! At this point I am beyond frustrated, today I recieved a message that they will send the side out to me again, this is the 8th time, and I am not expecting anothing other than a broken piece. The pieces that aren't broken are chipped and poorly painted among other things... BEWARE when buying this product - it has been a LONG 2 1/2 months trying to get it in one piece!
i purchased this product online and had it shipped to my nearby store. i work two jobs so i have spent all my free time the past week and half putting this together. there were not enough screws included with the product - i had to go buy them seperately. the unit has a tilt to the left, despite putting it together according to the directions. when it came time to put the doors on, i noticed they would go on crooked - leaving a gap along the top or the side - take your pick. then i finished assembling the drawers - the last step. i was almost done!! as i slid in the drawer it FELL OFF THE TRACK!!!! the drawers were sized too small for the unit!! after a week of work it was WORTHLESS!! i am so incredibly upset - please please PLEASE do not waste your money or your energy on this product. even after i get my money back, i can not get back the time i lost on this product. what a disappointment.
