Overall I am very pleased with the product. It took about two hours to assemble. It sermed a little overwhelming when i took all the pieces out of the box but would recommend laying everything out in an organized order and it will assemble easily. One set of screws (160) were hard to tighten but other than that the instructions were pretty straight forward.
I was looking to purchase a similiar item, but after watching a video review and reading reviews on it, decided to go with this one. I will say the assembly will take 2 people and it took us about 3 hrs to put everything together. I love it! It did come with a damaged piece for the back lining, but we were able to hide it till we get the replacement piece. I think its a great investment for at least the first 5 yrs of my little girls life.
I bought this to use at the end of the hallway for towels & linens as our new home is storage space challenged. Since it was nursery sized, I thought it would be perfect to fit in a small area like a hall. I also liked that it had the look of something more expensive, but was super cheap. (Although I see the price has now more than doubled since I purchased mine a week or so ago). I was correct on all counts; fits in the hall fine & looks great. All this being said, my husband walked away from it the first day of trying to assemble & told me we would need to return it as the instructions had no words, just pictures, and he didn't think that was enough. He also said not to order anything else from this company due to that. The next day he was able to sit down & figure it out. So, we now have a nice looking storage solution for a little over a hundred bucks, but not easy to put together. If not for that, this would be an easy 5 star value for what I paid for it.
I was disappointed by a few things. Putting the screws in the legs was -impossible- because the screws provided aren't pointed and the holes in the legs weren't drilled deep enough. Due to this I used different screws that were the same size but pointed (rather than drilling) and perhaps that is what caused further issue with the legs but I'm not sure as they weren't thinner or anything like that. A major disappointment is the legs. Do not shimmy this piece because only one screw is holding each leg and they will bend and you'll have crooked legs. You HAVE to lift this incredibly heavy piece to move it. The weight makes shimmying a bad idea on top of having just a single screw being a huge design flaw. For this piece you will definitely need a second person to help you.
All pressed wood, and came all smashed from the delivery, I assume!
The finish on the center support panel was not completed a section of about 12 in. was only half covered with white finish. The finish on other parts of the structure was questionable.
