I love this little speaker thing. It matches my ipod nano and i take it to work with me and I love that I can adjust the volume with my ipod. It is so cool. I had it the loudest you could have it and I thought it sounded great not like it was muffled or anything. Its really good cuz you can use it for other mp3 players. You hook it up by where you put the ear buds in so that's how it works, its like ear buds. I did have a problem the other day where I thought it was busted b/c it sounded like a speaker broke but I changed the batteries and it works great again. The batteries last a pretty good time too b/c I have it on for about 8 hours a day at work and sometimes on the weekends so its about 3 or 4 weeks from the last time I changed the batteries. Its great for home to work and I love the carrying case, I put my speakers in and then my ipod and I"m set for home. Its a wonderful product and I loved paying $20 for it cuz it works!
I was very surprised how great this little i-pod dock is. Love it! Sound good, of course not as good as a Bose, but for the price its great. Runs on batteries, very portable.
First of all I am not a technological genius. I was upset because the volume was so low at first and then I read the instructions and saw where you adjust the volume on your iPod. After I did that....WOW! I have a $600.00 stereo that doesn't sound as good as this product does. It matches my iPod perfectly and looks very nice with it. I use rechargable batteries to cut down on battery costs and they work very well. I noticed one reviewer mentioned the volume was low so adjust the volume on your mp3 player. The bass is very good and I'm just amazed at the sound that comes out of this little product. I'm very happy with this purchase.
i first purchased this when it was in a shape of a triangle and it still works great! same quality and everything. For the review that said that it doesnt last long: i know what you mean when it sounds that it has a busted speaker. but all you have to do is change the batteries and it'll work. i thought the same thing at first. mine started doing that the week i got it. then i changed the batteries and it works. so you should get another one theyre really convenient
Well, this iHome is nice, and I like it a lot, but the volume is not high enough for a pool party. It's very small...the size of my iPod touch. I love the sound it gives off though..its good quality. The size is handy, though, for like packing in suitcases and stuff. I also love how it's so movable. Battery power is so nice..especially when you won't be using this 24/7 like an alarm clock or something. Well I will still find many uses for this thingy, even if it can't be used for huge pool parties. Okay well peace.
Since I have several good music apps I decided to find a small speaker system that I could set on my desk. This item is made for the ipod I guess but my Droid sits in it just fine. I was amazed at the sound from it. Great tonality for its size and price, $19. It takes 4 AA batteries therefore drawing no power from the phone itself. It looks cool and comes in several neat colors. The only negative is that there is no volume control but its still great for your desk or other place with low ambient noise. I highly recommend it.
I have had 2 larger IPOD boomboxes and they have both met tragic ends. I wanted portable speakers for my IPOD that were light and small but had a good sound. This is just the thing. The price is very affordable and considering it runs on 4AA batteries with no cords to be pulled off is a great thing. The small size is great too, fits in a small space and the pink color is the same as my IPOD. My daughter will be getting her own IPOD in a few weeks for kindergarten graduation so she will also be getting this too!
I got my iPod as a gift, and I also got the iHome. It is not very good. Maybe I got a defective one. The sound is very low and you think that it would have a volume dial, but it doesn't.
I loved this item, but before I'd had it a month, the sound quality got bad. It sounded like it had a busted speaker, so I returned it. The second one I got didn't even last a week before it did the same thing. Thinking that the 3rd time's a charm, I returned again and received a replacement. The 3rd one lasted 2 weeks! Needless to say, I got my money back instead of getting a 4th replacement.
well i was so excited when i bought it but when i got to the point where i connected it to my iPod the sound quality was horrible. it was a big disapointment!
