The iHome is awesome speakers for work and around the house when cooking or cleaning. Easy to move around and travel with. You can't get any better then this for the price and size. A++
I'm 15 and love to listen to music, and this ihome was a great price and works really well! it's remarkably loud for it's small and portable size. It requires 4 "AA" batteries to work, but that's good because then i don't have to plug it in! It's loud enough to hear from 2 rooms away. I recommend this music player.
Works great, sound is nice and clear! Gets pretty loud as well. Really good product and only 17 bucks, can't beat it!
I ordered one of these in black for my mom, and bought a purple one for myself at our local store. These are great for travel or at home use. The sound of the speakers is great. It's worth the cost. I'd recomend this to anyone taking a trip and who would like to listen to their ipod as a radio when on vacation or such.

Overall, a very nice product. The black paint is very nice, and blends in very well. I truly didn't expect the sound quality to be as good as it was. The sound quality is great! The only gripes I have are that the wire that connects to the iPod or MP3 player is kind of short. Secondly, the button on the back is very hard to pull into on or off mode. And third, the appeal of this model would be heightened if it had an OPTIONAL AC adapter to plug into the wall.
I don't know why everyone wishes they had a wall cord. I received my iHome as a Christmas gift to go with my Phillips GoGear Aria, and have used it nearly every day since then (it's 24 March now); I've had to change my batteries only once. The fact that it runs off batteries makes it easy to transfer to a new room if I need to do something else. I just pick it up and go. My only issue with it is that the cord has shorted, and sometimes now the sound is hollow, so I have to play with the cord a bit to find a "sweet spot." I don't know if I or my kids crimped it somehow, or if it's just defective. Still, at $18, it's difficult to beat. The sound is loud and clear (well, when the cord is functioning, it's clear), it's lightweight and easy to clean, it's extremely portable, and it's extremely easy to use.
Product is excellent BUT I did not realize it could NOT also be used with an electrical adapter so going to use more batteries than I expected. Highly recommended and a great value. Also another pleasurable experience dealing with WalMart.Com. Bob
I was not happy that it had no plug just battery Had problems returning when I bought online and returned to the store contacted them because didn't refund me total purchase But did when I contacted walmart.com
I purchased this product as a gift for my sister to use with her ipod. Unfortunately, she has not used it because my other sister bought her a much cheaper speaker system that does not require batteries. Instead it utilizes the ipod's battery. If i had known this was battery operated instead of using a plug, i would not have purchased it because it was inconvenient for her to use it.
