This was the perfect accessory for my daughter's Wii Dance Party. It sits on a flat surface and you just plug it in. There's no need to worry about where to hang it or how to set it up. I can see my kids getting lots of use out of this and the price is right!!!
I did not read the description when I ordered the item, but I was surprise when we unpacked the item. The LED lights was a nice touch. My kids where happy with it. They used the item during thier Wii dance party.
Bought this item for my daughters 7th Birthday Party it was a hit
I bought this for my 12 year old son and he loves it!!!. The picture does not give it any justice. It is a good size and lights up a big room. It reminds me of a lit up skating rink of the 80s. Instead of clear circular shapes it spins different color ones. It has a a/c adapter with it which is great because batteries would not be strong enough for this item. This item would be great for parties or any teen who would like to add to their room. This item is bigger than what the picture looks like. The disco balls are about the size of a soft ball, maybe even a little bigger. Its worth every penny.
We got this for our 6 year old daughter for Christmas, so far it has performed great. Very easy to set-up and my daughter loves the lights.
I used for my daughter's 10 year old party during the afternoon, I had to cover with black bags the the windows so they could appreciate the lights. The girls loved it, but I was expecting a little be more. The lights covered half of the living room, I would say an area of 10x10. In general terms it is a good product
I bought two of these for an awards ceremony in a large multipurpose room. We placed them both toward the front of the room. After the awards we turned them on and they added a great addition and decoration to our "dance" part of the evening. If you really want to cover the whole room, I would have probably needed more like 2 for each wall (about 1 every 50 feet). I wasn't able to hang from the ceiling, but I'm pretty sure that would have been awesome. Easy to use, just not super bright.
I haven't had this product very long yet nor used it enough to be able to give the best review, but so far I like what I see. It gives off nice bright colors yet not the crazy lighting that can send one into a seizure. It is very quiet, in fact I hear no noise from it at all. So for the $25, I think it's a good product for the money.
I purchased this to use for a themed birthday party. It had pretty good reviews online, so I had no hesitation; however, the mirror ball I received was defective. Half of the lights did not even light up. Also, do not purchase this if you are using it in a large room. It is a small piece and would work well in a small bedroom, but definitely not powerful or big enough to use in a large room. It also turns very slowly, so if you are looking for fast-spinning lights, this does not do that. I ended up renting a professional DJ light to get the effect i wanted for the party I was hosting. This definitely wouldn't have cut it, even if all the lights were working.
Some reviews were good, others not so much; but I purchased this anyway. It would've been awesome if it had worked! It is supposed to turn, and I could hear the mechanism trying to work with no turning happening. I thought about returning and ordering a new one but just decided to purchase one at a local party store.
