This memory unit could not be more user-friendly. I just plugged it in, and it began working. What a relief that it doesn't have to be programmed or difficult to use in any way!
For people who have friends with Xbox 360s and want to carry their data over to the other person's house, this product will be invaluable. 512mb is actually pretty small, considering you can get SD cards for less with 2-8gb of storage. But it's still a great product overall. Just a little on the expensive side.
this is very easy to use and it works as it should.the only trouble i had with it is taking it out of the package.they package it to withstand a terrorist attack,
This product is very usefull, in transfering all of you game data from one harddrive to another, as well as for just keeping you game saves. I reccomend useing this product over the transfer cable you get alot less problems with it.
this memory card allows you to save your games and save profiles but its not good for saving music or videos or any thing like that but other than that it has a pretty good amount of space for your games.
Good price for the card. The card is what it is - and worked great for my son who takes his gamer profile to his friends houses when he visits.
I love this card better then the old one it can hold 8X more things and you don't have to cosses what you want to take you can take it all with you one this card
Both of the memory modules I purchased have worked well so far. They are very useful for kids to pick up games with friends on visits.
There isn't much to say. It is a memory card for the Xbox360. It holds 512MB, which is generally enough for any of your saved games, and your profile. The fact that it costs over $40 to get a memory card to copy my data between two Xbox360s is a bit annoying. Both of my Xboxes have 60GB hard drives. A memory unit is not terribly useful. Even assuming I wanted to play games on a friend's Xbox, I wouldn't generally need 512MB. Your profile, and MOST save games aren't going to come close to using up 512MB. You are paying a substantial premium for this portability, when you consider the fact that an 8GB USB flash drive can be purchased for $20 or less. There is nothing inherently wrong with the device. It looks good, although it is quite bulky for what it is. The keychain holder I suppose will be useful to someone, although not me. I recommend this product, only because you don't have many other options for copying your profile and save games to a portable device for use in other places.
Since Xbox 360 requires that you save your games, it is important that you purchase this product. The 512 Megabyte M.U. (Memory Unit) is perfect for the not so truly intense gamer. Role playing games will take the most space, for example, a game like 'Fable 2' will take 10 MB's to save due to its multiple levels, characters - accessories, stats, etc. With a 512 MB M.U. you're limited with the amount of things you could save onto it. Maybe you'd like to save photos, songs, demos from your live subscriptions, and stuff like that. However, why would you want to do that? If you are solely relying on a 512 MB Memory Unit, I suggest that you use this device only for game play saving. If you like to save a lot of things onto your Xbox 360, I do not suggest this specific amount, but rather upgrading to either purchasing another 512 MB unit or a memory unit with more mega or gigabytes. The one downfall of this, at least in my experience was the copying and/or moving of certain games i've played on my Xbox 360 from my hard drive to the 512 MB M.U. I found that games had copied or moved, but when I took it to a friend's house to play on their Xbox 360 the games were not accessible from its checkpoints that were last saved on a particular game. I conclude, though, that the 512 Megabyte Memory Unit is a great way to back up some of your games, photos, songs, demos, etc. (if you have a hard drive). If you rely solely on this one memory unit without a 20, 60, 120 Gigabyte hard drive or another 512 MB M.U., I do not suggest this specific size of memory to the intense gamer who plays at least hundreds of games.
