I'm a man who purchased this product for himself. Previous to purchase, I researched the differences between the man's and the woman's Emjoi epilator. The only differences between the man's epilator and the woman's epilator are the following. 1. the color 2. the man's epilator comes with a hair trimmer 3. the man's epilator is a bit more expensive Outside of the differences, both the man's and the woman's epilators are the same on the inside, just in case you didn't need the trimmer and wanted to save money. I have been using an epilator with half the tweezers of this epilator for several years. In comparison, my previous epilator took a long time to remove unwanted body hair and was painful. The Emjoi is so very much better than any other epilator I have ever used in years for the following reasons. I should also say that I never write reviews, but I HAD to write this review because I LOVE this product! It's THAT good! It's DEFINATELY worth the price. 1. more tweezers made the job so much faster, so it took half the time 2. with the dual rotating tweezers, the pain has reduced astronomically; I could barely feel it As an experienced epilator user, I would very highly recommend the Emjoi epilator for the previous two reasons. I cannot speak for novice epilator users, because novice users will always take a long time to epilate, AND some pain/discomfort is to be expected. Finally, the first time using this product was so very much a positive and effective experience. Therefore, I HIGHLY recommend this product to men, who want to save some money.
Ii had been told that these things HURT! Well, my experience with an Epilator was not that way. There was a slight feel of pulling, the first time I used it, but since then I have had no discomfort at all and my legs have never felt smoother. I would recommend this to anyone! Can't wait until I can only use it every few months.
I love it and it leaves my skin soft and smooth. I had my first one for two years until it broke on me. That's why I bought me another one. I so happy know.
I have been using epilators for over 15 years. Just used the Emagine by Emjoi for first time. Hands down the best at removing more hair in less time with lest amount of discomfort!
The first time you "pull your hair out" can be painful, but the second and subsequent times are not. I would reiterate that very short, repetitive strokes work best, with the most comfort (least pain). Keep the pressure light, and your skin tight, and you'll have the same good experience that I have.
I would use this one..... it does hurt a bit as they all do.. but I had my legs done in a matter of 10 minutes and I've never used anything like this before. Felt like a stingy scratch...and once done..... very smooth skin.
This is a loud little machine but, it works! I have very coarse hair and this has no trouble grabbing and yanking the hair out by the root. Yes, it does miss some and it hurts. Bactine or some other topical numbing spray may help this. Also witch hazel will help with skin irritation. This is too large for small areas but perfect for everywhere else. I am ordering a smaller epilator for small areas. It is also fairly durable and easy to clean.
Works ok, doesn't get the shorter hairs as it says. Left red bumps all over for about 2 days after using it! Not worth the money, I returned mine after first use.
Didn't work at all. I had an emjoi gentle gold for over 10 years and loved it. This item was didn't work at all. Didn't remove any hair. I returned it to the store.
I bought this product hoping it would work. I have a lot of leg hair, and am tried of shaving everyday. So trying this product, It was awful, it only pulled out a few hairs. This product would probably work for someone that has very little leg hair and very fine hair.
